As I said Hans isn't written out of the world. Since Anna was nearly freezing to death in the Final Battle trailer, Hans is set to appear but in a non-speaking cameo where he prepares to execute Elsa until Anna jumps in Freezing to death blocking Hans death blow. It's just like in the movie, Lion King 1 1/12 where Scar appears but in a non-speaking role and SDG's adventures in the world during the events of the Frozen film is just like how Timon and Pumbaa reliving the events of the Lion King movie from their point of view.

I understand, but that doesn't really make it better to me. I mean, the main characters aren't party members, the villain is not fightable, the world looks like a straight rehash of the movie with SDG just standing apart from them all in the background. They really just included it to give KH3 more hype apparently, because it doesn't sound like they did anything worthwhile with the property.

Since it doesn't look like Randall was a boss in Monstropolis either, I'm just wondering wth Square was smoking when they were making this game?

Well, the interview implies that Elsa and Anna are the top most regulations of the Disney side of things, so more of a Disney thing. As for others, maybe Pixar has their regulations? I mean, between a Heartless or an enemy exclusive to the game (like the Bahamut toy or creepy doll), their creative flair does not have to be limited. Is Han actually in the game? I don't think I saw him in the Characters Credits, but then again, other Olympians are not there either.

How come they had the idea to rig a Gopher model, but not include Eeyore or Owl? Due to time constraints or just abandoned for story reasons? The latter I certainly would not buy as an excuse, since Gopher is included. Did they witness that Eeyore norted video and jumped the shark by erasing any mention of the loveable donkey's existence?
Eventually the public will find out about the game's deleted content. Unfortunate that Rabbit's house is the only room to visit. I heard about the rest of the toys not being in Toy Box. Wow! That's quite a bummer.

im hoping lea and isa gets their own spinoff and i wouldn't mind if we pick with sora finding kairi but they end up travelling together like serah and Noel from 13-2. They are how i want sora and kairi to be written so i don't mind if they follow that path.

To be honest if there even is the possibility of having Kairi as the main protagonist in one of the next games, she should be as far away from Sora as possible. What Kairi needs is development as a character herself not as Sora's significant other. I doubt that would happen if she would share the spotlight with Sora.

I could imagine a game with Kairi and Riku (or Lea) traveling together through time to find and save Sora. That would give Kairi the opportunity to grow as a character with strengths and flaws. And she would finally be more than just a damsel in distress.

Just going to say, I love the ending of the game. I know there are people who have problems with certain aspects of it, but I like it. It feels like it wraps up most of the plot threads for the main characters, while also leaving just enough open to lead the way to the next saga. I wanted an ending that left me feeling satisfied while also creating interest for the next saga and I feel like I got that.

Other thing I want to comment on is that is some weird choices when it came to world choices and structure. I didn't expect the other Toys in Toy Box to have a major role, but I thought we would at least see them all reunite at the end of the world's story. Why are Eeyore and Owl missing from 100 Acre Woods?! That's just random. Also apparently only Rabbit's house is really playable if I'm reading the other comments right (Correct me if I'm wrong) which makes me wonder why 100 Acre Woods was even included at all then, it seems like a waste for a world.

I still don't understand why Radiant Garden wasn't playable. I mean since they decided to have the rebuilt town look almost identical to how it appeared in BBS, they easily could have just made this a mid-size world. Have the town square with the stairs leading up to the castle gates, then have a side door that when you enter goes to a load screen and leads you to Ansem's lab, and then maybe have the chamber of repose playable. And of course just include the FF characters for closure. All we needed was one scene with Sora standing with Leon looking over the town and Sora says "Well see ya around Leon." and Leon says "Hey Sora...the name's Squall." And boom I'm satisfied.

At least Land of Departure is playable (Although why we can't revisit the world after the Vanitas fight I'm not sure of considering it's basically just 2 areas: The courtyard and throne room.) And I still think as much as Destiny Islands is shown in this game, having it be playable, considering it's basically just 1 area, would not have been too much to ask. The final thing is of course Scala ad Caelum. I think after the fight with the 12 Xehanort's they should have had it to where we could climb the city up to the top of the tower, even if it was a straight shot, and confront Xehanort at the top before the final battle starts, which would have given us a chance to explore this world and actually enjoy it's design and beauty.

To me there is so much that this game does get right (Especially in terms of story), but at the same time there are particular decisions that were made in terms resources and allocation of resources that make me scratch my head and go "Huh?!"

I think the fact that his return is hand-waved in the game makes me believe they will be releasing more story content down the line that covers Roxas' return and his own journey

It is likely that the PoH will have new relevance and importance by something that happens in UX. There is that companion novel revealing the same day as KH about UX stuff, so I bet that will refer to at least something about it

No, Kairi's problems would still be just as bad because she's been treated so poorly by the series since the start and it is clear that her treatment is an active choice by the staff. The treatment of Aqua and all of the other female characters only compounds that there is an overall issue with how this series views its female characters compared to the male ones.

I doubt Nomura would confirm Xehanort and Eraqus to being in love with each other (As much as I would like to believe their interactions were meant to signal that). This game has gone to extreme lengths to reaffirm the heterosexuality of a number of characters. It's frankly disturbing.

Roxas isn't a Nobody anymore, so that's a pretty false statement. He's developed into his own character that people don't compare directly to Sora considering how vastly different they are.

But yeah, of course they will. Roxas and Xion have the most potential to be in future titles especially because of their unique powers and their popularity among fans.

Am I the only one actually who thinks the Destiny Trio didn't feel like a trio anymore? Especially in comparison to the other two Trios.

In my opinion Riku was completely sidelined in the scenes we've already seen. He was there, being pretty in the background while the game forced us to look at how important Sora's and Kairi's relationship is. It seemed like suddenly Sora only cared about Kairi and all the other relationships were less important than the one he had with her. Which is really weird, especially after DDD established how important Riku is to Sora for example.

That really irked me.

I assume it's because he's a party member in the fight against Saix. He's also a huge fan favourite so may as well try to generate some hype.

Honestly, they were never a trio. It's always been "Sora and Riku" or "Sora and Kairi" and maybe a bit of "Riku and Kairi" but never the three of them really being a united trio. They are the weakest of the trios for this reason.

They needed to make Sora Kairi-centered to sell his feelings for Kairi to the audience. It's not compelling in the slightest, and it just feels forced because the game never takes time to build their relationship organically. It's just there to fulfill a plot point made in KH1 and KH2 over a dozen years ago.

Yes, exactly. When a romance plot causes the main character to undervalue his relationships with other characters that he normally would have not undervalued, it isn't a well-written romance.
