I am very satisfied with this ending. Though it left me with a couple questions that the epilogue, secret ending, or possible future game could answer, this felt really complete. I'm at a lost for words because it was so much to take it. I think I will have to write something longer later once I have my thoughts together. 10/10 game imo.

I regret watching the ending bc even with these spoilers, I'm still not gonna see the secret ending or epilogue until I've beaten it myself over a week from now.

This series feels so cheap in its emotional manipulation and yet my dumbass keeps wanting more whether I be 4 or 21.

why exactly did xehanort kill kairi. I don't think I fully caught it.

It appears that the 7 Guardians of Light and 13 Seekers of Darkness needed to clash a total of 13 separate times to create 13 keys. (the ones floating around Master Xehanort). These keys forge the x-blade. After defeating Young Xehanort, Ansem, and Xemnas, Master Xehanort had 12 keys. He had Kairi abducted and killed her in order to goad Sora into fighting him, as well as make the last key.

I noticed we didn't see Demyx in the 13 darknesses fight in the chamber in Keyblade Graveyard. I wonder where is he? Neither did we see Marluxia, Larxene and Luxord in the ending, either.

Ven getting back his chirithy in the back while the chirithy is being shy initially is so cute my heart can't handle it

I'm happy for you, and you're entitled to that. Still, it's disappointing that Nomura settled on such a rushed, weak, and fundamentally flawed waste of characters and potential. It's just too bad.

It is nothing new though.

Since I am not specifically looking for spoilers and thus have not actually seen the whole ending yet, the few glimpses I got to see by chance as images like

- Mickey, Donald and Goofy returning to Disney Castle among fireworks
- Eraqus getting a memorial meaning he doesn't come back in full.
- Ventus reuniting with his Chirithy which is totally cute and heartwarming while Terra and Aqua watch on.
- Roxas, Lea and Xion (with new clothes) having a dope time on the clock tower with HPO and Isa joining in.

look all like worthwhile moments to me showing those characters finally being free from all the torment they were kept in 2/3rds of the saga.
And I bet those four things aren't the only ones shown in the ending.

The more I see and get to know the more I am convinced it is the usual stuff for KH.

It isn't as bad as some voices make it out to be nor is it definite gold when it comes to story pacing and truly making everything out of a large cast of characters that is available.

That's all I can say on the matter without going into any spoilers.
I'd definitely say every single person should experience the whole thing firsthand before making a full evaluation.

I know some spoilers second hand now through summaries from people here and some by chance images I came upon but I have no problem with having those beforehand as I still need to play the whole thing myself to put it all in context to each other.

Still, I will be doing my utmost to not spoil anything for those who want to go in totally blind.

I'm really disappointed about Scala, why go to all the effort of making a world look so beautiful and have you play in there for all of 20 minutes? Such a waste, it's not even fully explorable.

So one question. Nomura told in some interviews as we all know that we would be able to do like everything in the final world. What’s that about? Is it true? A non-spoilery answer would be very nice

So many thoughts, but I guess I can say I was semi-pleased overall. My absolute biggest gripe is I still feel the game let's Sora take the spotlight too much, and there were some scenes where they make you think other characters would join in, but NOPE. I knew for months now that Roxas wasn't gonna do too much beyond what I theorized would be a single fight, but it's still dissapointing he didn't get to do more afterward since he hasn't been in action himself for so long (and ya know, all the hype for him). Even though his beat down of Isa (and Isa's awesome fight in general was pretty satisfying). In terms of Aqua, despite the fact that, as I said before, they keep bogging her down, they do acknowledge her strength (even if it's in the most backwards and frustrating way possible) by constantly having her appear like she's going to be one of the main forces in the battle and subsequently stripping the rug from under her almost every time (which had me laughing a bit). The BBS trio's reunion with their Master was pretty nice. The Day's trio segment and reunion was probably my favorite. And the final boss wasn't too spectacular, so even if Sora (and Donand and Goofy for the most part) did end up being the only one fighting Xehanort in the end, at least the other protagonist didn't miss out on anything that could've only benefitted from them being there (even though I still think they should've been there).
Now the ending. Umm, good? Kinda what I was expecting, but a little bit worse in execution. I do really like how all the characters got together in the end, something about it just rung hollow for me. I will say though, it was pretty annoying the Roxas was the only one in that clock tower scene to not have a new outfit (like I've been pleading he would since KH3 was first announced, and it would've only helped to differentiate him more from Sora and Ventus). And the lack of Namine until the very end kinda bothered me too. I do like how Ven reunited with his chirithy (he seemed to know exactly what and who it was), and the shrine he Terra, and Aqua made for Master Eraques was pretty nice too. Overall, even though it was slightly below my expectations, and the pacing wasn't the best (horrible in some parts), it certainly wasn't the worst thing in the world, but definitely not the best either.

Also sorry if my thoughts were a little all over the place.
