I'm interested in your thoughts on this! Is it like Raz and you just wanted a mega boss, or something else? Personally I'm not into the whole Sora-show trope, but I feel like in terms of level design it was pretty cool (minus the underwater part, that was not needed) and definitely felt like a climax which KH3 was really lacking up until now. Also I love Donald and Goofy.

I'm personally OK without a mega boss because I prefer being able to block shit and actually focus on a target. That said, I think some things were missed out on conceptually: we never did get that ultimate Xemnas boss and having Xehanort merge with the heart of a world (or just bring it under his control) and make it the enemy for a portion of the fight could have been neat. The part where the "Mysterious Enemies" summon a death lazer out of Scala's sky was pretty wild.

Oh yeah and I don't like that the game forces the player into Rage Form for a bit. That just seems cheap, if I die in that segment after getting through the rest of the fight (which is by no means guaranteed) I'm gonna be showing Nomura what real Rage Form looks like, ha.

I lost it. I was foaming out the mouth. It was god damn amazing. One of the coolest looking final boss fights I have ever seen. Up there with Dante's final fight with Vergil in DMC3.

Now that it seems most of the plot is out there, I’m very interested to hear non-spoiler impressions from those who have followed all of the spoiler leaks to this point. Do you feel the original leaker was mostly fair in his assessment?

The leaker said he's not going to post the ending until Wednesday, out of "respect" for Disney. It seems pretty silly at this point, but he went out of his way to get this content out there, moving from site to site and delivering on the big stuff. Today has been a wild ride, and I'm just glad we got a leaker who is both willing and competent.

I think he was fair, but I don't think this analysis will be very useful to most people. He doesn't really seem to understand how to talk about the game in a way that people can really understand, but in terms of his grading, I would say 7.3/10 is pretty generous. It's a pretty game to look at, the gameplay seems decent to good, but there's really not much else to it. My guess is that it's going to be pretty intensely divisive on release and most of the content won't really hold up to scrutiny, so it will depend largely on whether fans choose to embrace it despite its flaws.

I'm just guessing that anybody that dies in the final battle(good guy wise) gets revived by "Kingdom Hearts" or plot device, post final battle.

I'm fine either way tbh, the stuff that mattered to me is out now and there's plenty to process. Even if they do leak the ending on Wednesday, I'll probably be busy playing the game myself, but it might still be useful if I find myself too busy to finish it in a timely manner and just want to get it over with.

So, someone posted this in a reply to Inferno on Twitter when they tried to do it on ResetEra but in the underwater segment, Daybreak Town's clock tower is seen in a somewhat broken state, with the actual clock part being completely missing.
