I just miss when Maleficent was... important.

Ain't it crazy how much the series has changed, looking back at the Disney villains council in KH1 vs. the ending of this game?

Anyway, I myself am also looking forward to seeing if and when you battle Pete/Maleficent.

Wait wait pause. Didn't some of you say they Infinity War KH3? So doesn't that mean that if anyone "dies", it does not stick by the end of the game?

I wouldn't take Riku's line to heart. He's doing that thing that all anime protagonists do, where they have fought the villain so much that it's going to be weird seeing them gone. I'm sure he doesn't mean that he wants him around, though.

Yeah, I wouldn't take Riku's line at face value. Just that Ansem SOD has been part of Riku's life for so long, that it's going to feel a bit weird with him gone.

I get that. But what's the point actually of spoiler tagging when no one knows the subject they are talking about until you actually click on it? Almost nobody reveals what subject the spoilers are about.

So as long as nobody does that, spoiler tagging is useless IMO. Because if you only want spoilers about certain subjects you have to guess, so why would you even enter this thread then?

That’s unfortunately a side effect of the laziness of the posters, not on staff.

Only myself and Spock are around to mod, and unfortunately I’m absent for 18 hours a day and Spock is on a holiday so we really need users to not be jerks and just work with us.

Damn, I lived up to the moment when, my favorite RAX trio again come together. Perhaps their recovery was somewhat stingy, but the Lea, Xion and Roxas pancakes were never very emotional. )) But the TAV trio trio was just great, I would never have thought that I would be so happy with it.)

Sora is still gonna be the main character though. Nomura has already confirmed it multiple times that Sora will be the lead for KH4 and beyond.

It sounds like to me what happens is essentially a parallel to Sora sacrificing himself for Kairi in KH1. Which is how Roxas was born, when Sora became a nobody. I wonder if Sora doing something similar in this game is how something else is born for KH4 and beyond.

Just watched the Scala battle. I apologize for being a negative nancy but MX deserved a mega-monster form like Xemnas and SoD. Sure, fighting a ton of smaller enemies is neat. But when it comes to a KH ending I require a Big Bad on a massive scale.

That’s my issue with it, too. Like, sure the bending world is cool and all but this is pretty much on par with the portable titles and nowhere near the scale of 1 or 2

Looking at the final battle I have to say that in this case less is more. Sure we didn't get a giant monster form, but I'm surprisingly okay with that. The way they did the final battle comes off as a real showdown with Master Xehanort and somehow makes it feel much more intimate. Which I really like, especially the last phase. The last phase of this fight when Xehanort has the X-Blade and Kingdom Hearts is the back drop...OMG that looks amazing. My only real complaint with the final fight is that we don't get to explore Scala Ad Caelum. I feel that after the fight with the 12 armored figures, they could have had Xehanort teleport to the top of the tower and then we have to climb up Scala Ad Caelum to reach him, giving us a chance to explore the world. After we reach the battle against his armored form would commence. Other than that I really do like this fight
