It sure is the best HD Collection boxart. As a KH Boxart it is one of the greatest two. Hope That we will get the same. :biggrin:

I also noticed another thing: While the theme and coloration of the Keyblades forming the backrest of Sora's throne is a throwback to the countless Keyblades on the Keyblade Graveyard, the Keyblades themselves are all models that Sora can obtain in Kingdom Hearts 1, fittingly for the cover of KH 1 HD Final Mix.

Noctis and Lightning have their legs in a mirror position to Xehanort and Sora though, left leg over right one while Xehanort and Sora do right over left.
So there's at least a small difference.
The similarity is nonetheless stunning.
Wasn't there another picture of Lightning in her FF XIII-attire sitting on a couch in this position with her original Blazefire-Saber scross her lap?

Yep, that was the one. There the legs-position is even the same than Sora and Xehanort, although the smug "hand-against-cheek" gesture they (and Noctis) have is missing.

The fact is SE has done at least six variations of this one pose. MX once, Sora twice, Noctis once, Lightning twice.

There might even be another at least "half"-variation, as when Roxas is first led into the throne room in Days (on his first day joining the Organisation) Xemnas is slouching in his throne with the same hand posture like MX, Sora and Noctis. I don't think Xemnas' legs are visible in that cutscene, but still...
This seems to be the standard SE swag-posture when they want to show off characters in a "badass"-pose.
At least they don't do the "Gendo Ikari"-variant, rofl.

It does look pretty nice despite the weird things going on. Just wish they had done a little bit more with the Days and CoM parts to take up a little bit more of that white space. Looking forward to a better cover for 2.5...with Vanitas on it <3
