I see what ya mean Regnell 37.
I personaly think we haven't seen enough of Sora. Cuase of all the portable games. but thats a different topic.
The Keyblade wars would be a fantastic way of Making the series a bit more Darker for sure i would think. War doesnt scream kid friendly to me. They could have like different scenarios of the Dark and Light side. And fully tell us the the story. I mean Mr. N owes us that much for teaseing us with that KH2 Secret ending. Talking about the Keyblade wars as if it was the main topic of the game of BBS. I havent played BBS so i wouldnt know. But it doesnt seem like it focuses on The keyblade wars as much as we expected.
Maybe on a Keyblade wars game there wont be much disney either. Maybe little to none at all. Completely orginal worlds. Personally those worlds were my fav in KH. And Keyblade wars is a perfect way for him to expand his abilties.

EDIT: And also i am pretty sure Mr. N has been thinking about making a full KH game with orginal worlds. He can't use the same disney over and over, and ya theres pixar but that'll run out too.
A New Series based ina KH universe can be epic I would think. Weather it was based in the keyblade wars, or based like 15 years in the future where Sora is some kids master (Which would also make a good plot)

That's what they said about Birth by Sleep. It wasn't really that dark for me.

There's not that much to tell of the Keyblade Wars really. It's so unconnected to the characters of today that there would be little point in exploring it, at least not how it was in the past. (If it were to rehappen sometime in the future, it would be more fitting then).

I don't see why people want the games to be "more dark". BBS and Days + Coded (to an extent) managed to tell a serious story that was sad in many ways without sacrificing the Disney feel, or going completely "dark".

Y'know. They could pull a MGS Snake thing and go back to the keyblade wars and have the three main protagonists look just like SRK.

The last thing we really need at this point are more copies of already established characters.

I was just joking. I was just poking fun of how half of the people in KH are Sora.

I think it would be a nice change if the characters in this hypothetical game were nothing like Sora, Kairi or Riku and had their own personalities.

Actually. In the future would be a good plot to. Either with Sora (It'd be epic to have Sora ina war) Or With new characters ya no? and Sora or Riku could be those characters Master. Kinda thing I dunno. I like it past or future. i just want kinda like a trilogy of KH. Kinda like star wars (Not same plot but ya know what I mean) Or what they are doing with avatar the last airbender.
I also heard someone say on the fourms (I forgot who) like something about corrupted light? That could kinda work in a future time line? Like Sora could be Messed up from this light and a New Keyblade weilder From the dark or something (Or both light and dark or just light. I'd prefer a new guy using darkness) and The new guy has to hunt him down. And you don't even know its Sora till you finish the game kinda thing. And in the end. You can either choose to end Sora or try to ease him outta his corruption. But if they were to make a sequel. Idk how it would work. Any ideas?

Somebody corrupted by light would defeat its entire purpose in the series.

That statement makes NO SENSE whatsoever. How would it "defeat the entire purpose"? We already know that Dark and Light can be both good and evil so why would somebody being corrupt by light defeat it's purpose?

Eraqus trying to murder Ventus and Terra. Hey, it may have been for "good" causes... but guess what? Master Xehanort's causes were good too yet how he got to those goals were evil. Same thing with Eraqus.

And you still haven't told me how it would "defeat the entire purpose of Kingdom Hearts".

That didn't have much to do with him being Light though. It more had to do with not letting Kingdom Hearts and the X-Blade fall into the wrong hands and bring back the Keyblade Wars. =/

So basically you're saying that Light and Darkness are neither good or bad but the people who use it are?

(facepalm) YES! This has been stated in Kingdom Hearts 2, were you not paying attention? I swear, I don't understand why there are so many people who seem to have forgotten that explanation in KH2. Light and Darkness are not good nor evil. It just depends on the person who uses it and how they use it.

Think of it like fire. Fire can be both good or bad. It just depends on how you use it. One person may use fire to warm and comfort those who are homeless while another person can use fire to murder a village. In the end, it depends on how you use it that determines if it's good or bad.

I do agree that darkness can be used for good as well, however, darkness is a much more riskier force. Heartless are born from darkness, for example. Darkness can also negatively affect the stability of the worlds. It takes a strong heart to control the darkness otherwise, one can easily fall victim to it; darkness erodes the heart. It was said that darkness festered in the hearts of those craving the light, for example, so it can come from a source of greed and the dark heartened. So I guess it comes down to having the heart strength and the will to put that negative energy to good use, or something like that.

But the whole point of light & darkness is Good vs Evil. The reason is that Light, in relation to the daytime, which is life, is associated to good feelings (happiness, love, kindness, courage, determination, etc), while darkness, aka night when everyone is asleep, therefore absence of life, is associated to bad feelings (fear, anger, hate, sadness, corruption, rage, etc).
If light could be evil and darkness could be good, this division would have no meaning to whatever the conflict were, because you could have good light warriors teaming up with good dark warriors, and figthing against evil light warriors teamed with evil dark warriors.
So, to me Dark = Evil and Light = Good
