Re: Jojo's Bizarre Adventure

Bizarre isn't even the word for it, lol

But honestly, this probably had some of the smartest animation of the season so far. They knew they weren't going to be able to animate that art style as smoothly as something else, so they didn't focus their efforts there. Instead, they focused their animation on glorious character reactions and over-the-top single attacks and pure melodramatic style.

Seriously, I think David Production has really outdone themselves with this one. I admit that I haven't read much of the JoJo manga, but the feeling that this premiere captured was exactly what I expected it would be.

There was some serious style in this adaptation holy bejesus. Certainly not bad for a first episode, next episode will be much better though with Speedwagon showing up.

And anyone who doesn't watch the gg release of this is a bloody cur!

I think I've watched this 2 or 3 times. The animation was acceptable I'd say, especially in the boxing. Seems like the pacing is just as neckbreaking as the original. I don't mind though tbh, this isn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be.

The show airs on Friday, and I'm pretty sure the first episode was subbed the same day.

Re: Jojo's Bizarre Adventure

Oh wow, that episode was just about perfect.

I'm definitely seeing why people love this series.

Everything is so retro and awesome.

Yeah, the opening really stole the show this time. It gave me a "Fist of the North Star" feel, only far more bizarre.

Re: Jojo's Bizarre Adventure

I have yet to watch Episode 2 as I am awaiting gg's subs to appear.

But have watched the opening over and over. Very impressive. Can tell Kohei Tanaka is behind it, reminds me of his One Piece soundtracks somewhat.

Hopefully the flashes at the beginning showing all the protagonists means we will be getting everything animated.

I love this series, what little I've been able to enjoy of it. The character designs are always so varied and enjoyable, even as long running as it is. Definitely a feat worthy of praise.

He's not wuite the only one. Only JoJo's I heard of are the who in Dr. Seuss' books, and Jojo's Circuis which is an old Playhouse Disney show.

Episode 3 is out. Oh my god, the aesthetics are amazing this episode, but the animation is pretty lacking as usual. It definitely lived up to being a good followup to episode 2 though, wow
