the best answer i've heard to this insanely important question so far is "no, because he fucked everyone's lives"
I bet he did smash, but it wasn’t good. He just needs good one.

Spoiler ShowXehanort's baby momma was fed up that he didn't put a ring on it and was continually sending monsters to attack their son in order to craft an omnipotent key. Instead of facing the upcoming custody battle the pointy eared daddy kidnapped Ventus to set up the beginning of BBS. Unable to convince the youth to follow the dream of 'Nort & Son Ventures, Xehanort decided just to extract the best parts in order to have the perfect, obedient child which became Vanitas. It worked out nicely, because Xehanort could lose the investigators his lover sent after him by dropping off Ventus at her brother's place who just happened to be his childhood friend, Eraqus. Now the Keyblade master and his new heir are gallivanting around the galaxy finally living out his dream. Unfortunately since Xehanort is avoiding to pay child support the single mother couldn't afford to keep paying the investigators and had to move to the dwarf mines in order to make a living. She had to leave her son in Eraqus' hands because she knew deep down that he'd be able to provide a better home, but puts a little money aside with hopes one day that she will be reunited with her son living in a small, albeit comfortable and affordable flat in Twilight Town. A safe place where young Ventus could have adventures with his group of friends ranging from eating salty sweet treats to leaving big welts on each other with blue wiffle bats. That was her plan. At least that's what she described in great detail to her once childhood friend who was now a distinguished, brilliant and wise leader of his homeland. The feelings he once had for her was reemerging again. He offered anything he could provide in order for mother and son to be finally together and happy. She kindly refused him explaining that providing a good home for her son was something that she had to do by herself. He understood and returned to his home while thinking of one day maybe, just maybe they could all be a loving and carefree family. There wouldn't be thoughts about that sad, disreputable Xehanort ruining her life anymore. Instead he was picturing a future together with them all living without fear of identity theft, severe narcolepsy, or being squashed by a boulder and an old hag while walking home from the mines one day. It would be lovely..
I lost track of reading after "Xehanort's baby momma".Where do you think Ventus came from?

It is pretty much the TLR version since it basically answers the OP's question.I lost track of reading after "Xehanort's baby momma".
I don't think we'll ever find out the identity of this chivalrous lad. SE shot down this idea after reminding Nomura that they agreed to never publish drunken fanfiction again. It only got worse when Nomura tried to explain that this time he was snorting not chugging.Oh I've read EVERYTHING (who is Xenaheart's baby momma's friendzoned secret lover and protector tho??) and the only thing that makes this story not plausible to happen in canon is the fact that this story makes sense.
KH: this bitch empty makes sense
