Vox watched as two members of the Royal Families began to dance. He noticed the two, Lenis Fleuret and Noctis Caelum. It was strange for members of two different royal families to dance together but the younger genereation seemed to accept eachother more. Although Vox didnt believe it much.

It's just a cover-up. He thought to himself. There is no peace between them. It sickins me to see the families make a fool of the citizens of the country. It's time for true peace and not the false peace they portray.

Vox walked out of the room and back into the hall. He took out his phone and called his driver.

"Bring the car around front. Take me back to the office."
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Certo looked at the two robbers. He could tell by the look on their face that they didnt expect him to know magic.

"If you just leave me alone then you wont have to worry about getting hurt." said Certo.

The robber with the gun laughed.

"You think that we're gonna get hurt."

The robber shot the gun and the same thing happened as before. The bullet was stopped by the spell. The other robber got out his gun and he began to fire shots. Both fired shots at Certo but all the shots were being blocked by the spell. The invisible was would flash as soon as the bullet made contact and the bullet would fall to the floor. Certo wasnt worried. The spell would last for a while.

Certo looked back to see Aurora still looking. She had seen her father use magic before, but never while being shot at. The bullets were still falling to the ground as they were being shot. Certo walked towards the men. They walked away from him still firing. One robber aimed for Aurora in the window of the car but when it got close to the car the bullet was blocked by the same thing that protected Certo.

"The same spell protects my daughter in the car."

Certo ran towards them as the bullets were being shot. He grabbed the arm of the first robber that held the gun and twisted in behind his back. As he twisted it, its aim went from at Certo to pointing to the other robber. The other robber was shot in the side and fell to the ground. Certo then flipped the robber, whose arm he had twisted, over his shoulder onto the ground hard.

Both robbers were on the ground. The one he had flipped was knocked out. He walked towards the one that was shot. He could see that he was still breathing too.

Someone should have heard those shots. The police should be here soon. he thought.

Certo went back to the car. Aurora unlocked the door. He got in and started the car. Aurora called out to Certo.

"Daddy?!"

"Are you alright?"

"Yes."

"OK, lets go home."

As he continued to stand there in the cold air at the edge of the balcony he was on, Sleif gripped onto his black staff as he continued to think since leaving the the ballroom behind him to continue on with the celebrations. "Quite strange!" he thought to himself as he overlooked the city with all of its lights twinkling under the sky. "How did he come to know my name, and not only that, know exactly who and where I would be?" Sleif continued to think to himself as the wind gently blew against the outside of his black cloak, causing a few of his stray silver hairs to move and flap softly in the wind as well.

Closing his eyes softly, it was almost as if Sleif was going into a deep trance as he continued to think to himself. "Would it be such a good idea with me coming back. It has been quite some time since I was there last. I don't quite trust him, I don't think anyone could really trust someone who just came up out of nowhere asking of such a thing." Sleif thought having conflicting actions on all of this. "But.....he knows of a crystal. And whatever he knows, will be of great importance, no matter what it is." he said finally convincing himself before turning around and once again calmly walking back into the ballroom as most of the guests were already dancing.

Walking along the wall, Sleif felt that he wasn't really needed in the ballroom, at least for the moment, as he arrived to the large doors he used when arriving first to the room. Gently stepping out tapping his staff on the ground, the man decided to partake in some of objects he had seen when entering the main entrance way, turning around to go in that direction before noticing someone a few feet infront of him, taking out a phone. "Bring the car around front. Take me back to the office." the man said just as Sleif walked past him, gently bowing to Vox before continuing to walk ahead, stopping to admire the first portrait he came across.

Vox watched as a man with a staff bowed to him as he walked by. He didnt know the man but that maybe the man knew him or knew that he was in the Council of Elders. Vox continued walking until he got outside. The car was there with the door open waiting for him to get in. He got in and the driver closed the door.

They drove through the city. The light from the sun was bright. It reflected off the buildings as if they were made of pure glass. It made the city look beautiful. Vox sat there in the back seat. He fixed himself a glass of wine and turned on music. He closed his eyes as the song began to play. It was Requim for a Dream. Vox loved that kind of music. It was about the only thing he did love. Everything else in the world seemed fake to him or untrue, but music was the only thing real.

He reached into his pocket for his phone and dialed a number. He layed the phone on the seat.

"Yes sir."

"Fracta, send a message to all the Council members that I would like to hold a meeting next week."

"Ok, what should I tell them the meeting will be about?"

"Tell them that the meeting will be on 'Peace'."

Fracta was silent.

"Did you hear me?" he yelled.

"Yes, sir. It's just that the last couple times your meetings have been on peace and it has ended with an intense arguement that has either you thrown out the meeting or threatening another member's life."

"This time will be different." he hung up the phone.

He dialed another number. It rang, and rang, and rang but no one ever answered.

"Answer the damn phone."

He dialed a different number.

"Yeah boss."

"Par, where is Certo?"

"Um...dont know boss. Maybe you should try calling him."

"Dont you think I did that, you idiot. I wouldnt call you if he had answered his phone."

"Sorry boss. Last I talk to him was going to get his daughter and then--"

Vox hung up before Par could finish. Vox didnt like Par. He only kept him as an intern was because he did all the little stuff that Fracta didnt have time to do, such as getting him coffee or cleaning his car. He didnt really like Certo either. Although Certo was a good worker he didnt like the fact that they had different views on how to keep peace. Certo would usually agree with the other Council members on certain matters.

"Driver. Change route. Take me home instead of the office."

He took a sip of wine.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Certo looked at his phone as it rang. It was his boss, Vox Vir. He didnt feel like talking to him so he let it ring.

He walked through the living room and out onto the balcony. They lived in a large apartment. It was in a tall building, 13 stories high and they lived on the very top. Only two families lived on the very top, Certo and Aurora and the people across the hall that they never spoke to. Aurora was picking flowers from the garden that her mother had started. Certo sat in a chair and watched. Aurora looked alot like Certo but also alot like her mother too. He remembered when his wife started the garden. Certo had told Aurora stories of her mother before. Aurora walked over to Certo and handed him the flowers she had picked.

"Her you go daddy."

Certo smiled.

"Thank you."

"Can you read me the story now?"

"It's not even night time are you sure you want me to read it now?"

"Yes please."

"Ok then. Go get it."

Aurora ran into the house and into her room and got the book. She came back out smiling and happy. He picked her up and sat her on his lap.

"Ok, here we go."

He opened the book.

"The Legend of the 7 Chrystals."

He began to read the book.

Ruu noticed his sister do something strange. She was hanging out with another person from a different royal family, and a man too. "She doesn't usually do this sort of thing." He thought to himself slouching in his chair and yawning. He was extremely bored and it always happened at events. He missed his servant moogle friend, the times they had. He daydreamed a little then his eyes snapped open. They were dancing now. "Well, this is interesting, I can't believe it!" He murmured excitedly, now he was sure to be entertained at least for a little while, and it had been a little while. He yawned again and got up out of his throne in search of his brother. "Oh, I simply must tell him!" He thought

"Sure, I'd love to" "I'm really glad that I'm not the only one who is thinking of peace as an approach between our families" " By the way.." "my friends call me Len."
Noctis couldnt help but smile at Len as she pulled him towards the dance floor, and when he looked at her he saw that she had a Radiant smile on her face, and he felt himself blushing again. He was amazed that he was able to find another who hoped for a peaceful future without wars. They were almost at the dance floor now and he was quite excited, both to be able to talk with her about something they both obviously wanted, and by the fact that he could dance and be himself, without the usual feeling of worry that he usually had. They arrived at the dance floor, and then he got ready to dance with this wonderful girl. At that point he noticed that her brother was watching with an amused look.... Then they started to dance.

The gate opened into Vox's mansion. His house was on the outskirts of the city. He had alot of land. His house was surrounded by a large metal gate. His mansion stood three stories high and 100 yards long. It was actually too big for just one person to live in. His bulters, maids, gardeners, and driver all lived in the house with him on the first floor. The second floor had 2 living room, 3 kitchens, 5 bathrooms, and one1 giant dining room. The third floor was Vox's. No one was allowed up there unless they had permission. It had his giant bedroom, a giant bathroom, a office for him to work in, a fencing room for him to practice his swordsmenship and gun skills, a library, and a balcony over looking the back yard.

The gate closed behind them as they drove into the yard. The car pulled around front and Vox got out. He was greeted by his gardeners. He ignored them. When he walked in he was greeted by his maids and butlers, but he ignored them too. He walked to the elevator and went up to the thrid floor. He got out and went straight to the balcony. He looked over into his back yard. He looked down into the pool. The was was sparkling from the sunlight. He looked farther to see his butlers tending to his chocobos.

Vox sat down in a chair. He pushed a button on the pager next to him.

"Yes sir. Can I help you?"

"Yes. Have dinner for me ready in an hour. And call the Palace of Midday for me. I would like to speak to Belle."

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Certo finished reading the book. Aurora had a puzzled look on her face.

"What's wrong?"

"What happened to the Chrystals after the warriors used their power to save the world."

Certo had to think a while.

"Well three of them are control with the Royal Families. Three, no one knows where they are, and the last one no ones even knows if it exists or not."

"Why do the Royal Families get to have them?"

That was a good question. Certo had never thought of why they had them. They just always has. Nowhere in history did it tell the first Caelum, Atrum, or Flueret to possess a chrystal's power. How they ever got the chrystals was a mystery.

"Could someone else have the other chrystals if they found them?"

"Yeah, I guess........You're asking alot of questions for a three year old. Why dont you go to your room and play."

"Ok."

Aurora got from his lap and went into her room. Certo got out the chair and walked to the rail and looked down into the city. The city was huge but from his point of view everything looked small. He had never thought about the other chrystals. He had heard of scientific teams going to look for them but never find them. He thought of the chrystals, then of his peace idea.

"I got it."

Certo ran into the house and went to the computer.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

She sat there in the chair as her butler handed her a glass of champaign. She drunk some of it and put it down. She sat there staring into space. She was wondering if she should have went to Dawn Palace. She sent her niece in her place. She didnt want to be there with the Caelums and Flueret pretending to like eachother. She knew that that would never happen. It would be up to the Atrum's and their power to hold both families at bay forever. That's how she felt. As long as she could remember her family had been trying to protect the kingdom from the wrath of the Caelums and Fluerets. When she was a child her grandfather would tell her stories about his grandfather fighting those two families, even though the war between them were over centuries ago they still had battles.

Her butler came in with a phone in his hand.

"Madam, the phone is for you. It's Mr. Vox Vir."

He handed the phone to her.

"Hello Vox. How have you been."

"I've been good Belle and you."

"Everything has been running smoothly. So what did you call for?"

"I cant just call and talk to an old friend."

"It's not like you Vox. We've been knowing eachother for 40 years. We know eachother well."

"Well, ok then. I'll cut to the chase." he cleared his throat. "I want you to come represent the Atrum family in a peace meeting between the Council of Elders next week."

"Is that all you wanted? To call and involve me in another fake peace treaty."

"This time it wont be fake. This time it will be the real thing. The Caelums and Fluerets will have no choice but to agree to peace after they hear my idea."

"Your ideas are always turned down you old fool. Are you sure about this?"

"Yes. The Council will have to agree to it too."

"Ok. I'll be there then."

"Good. I'll have one of my workers escort you around the cuty when you get here and bring you to the building."

"That'll be fine. Bye Vox."

"Bye Belle."

She hung up the phone.

Truth
Thoughts...

As they began to dance, the atmosphere started to calm down and get slower. Lenis smiled in relief, it seemed that the Gods were on her side, she just have to take advantage of this opportunity and make the road for Peace. She glanced at her brother to see him staring back at them in great amusement and interest. she raised an eyebrow as a playful smile drew on her lips. You know it's not nice to stare like that she told him telepathically. Don't you have anything better to do her teasing tone of her thoughts couldn't be mistaken by Ryuu.

Now returning all her attention back to Noctis, she noticed that he was a really good dancer and it tingled her interest. "So..." she began " Is this your first visit to the Palace of Dawn or you've been here before?" she tilted her head to the side gently awaiting his response. She somehow began to build an impression of him. He wasn't certainly the talkative type and not the impulsive rash one either. He was more of the quiet mysterious one, person who doesn't give away too much but also has a sense of diplomacy if necessary. She smiled at her quick analyzing, it had become a habit of hers recently to analyze people around her, something she also got from her travels.

Her green orbs caught a member of the council leaving the room, she thought she had seen him before but she wasn't sure if she remembered his name but soon the thought swept away as she once again noticed another figure leave the festival. He was wearing a hood so she couldn't look at his face but she caught a hint of silver. it greatly attracted her interest, maybe she was imagining it, maybe it was something that she must account for but that stranger seemed to emit a different aura. No, more precisely he seemed to be different over all. She wasn't quite sure but she let the thought slip away for now, she might run into him later, who knows?. For now she'll enjoy the festival with her interesting companion and new friend, Noctis.

Creating bonds to save our world and bring peace
Syra could hear the party from outside. Such a bolsterous party indeed. He could remember what his father had said not too long ago. "My son. We must get the Atrumss on our side. They will be helpful during the war. Make the princess love you and then you shall wed her and our victory will be assured." The King had said to Syra. Figuring that he had to listen to his father unlike his pirate sister, Syra would do it. Seeing a car pull up, the young prince saw the princess step out. "I'll wait for her to make her apperance known." He said with a grin. He then stepped inside the building and made his way to the party.

He didn't say much to people but there wasn't really anyone interesting at the party. Looking over to his older sister, Syra wanted to go over there but, he would wait for it seemed as though she was busy in a conversation. Things were going well for right now.

Blake continued to walk around, like he was waiting for something to happen. He had to let Lenis know what was going on, so she wouldn't worry. He really didn't want to interupt her enjoyment, but he had to. Blake walked up to the two dancing, and started to whisper in Lenis' ear. "Len, I'm going on an adventure here soon, if you want to come get ready soon, but I prefer you not, I do not want to indanger you. This adventure is different from our others. If your coming then meet me right outside the palace in awhile , if you don't then I understand." Blake then smiled at her and walked away from the two.

He looked around trying to find Sleif so they could discuss there plans. But when he looked Sleif wasn't there. Blake went outside, and spotted Sleif looking at the paintings.
"Hey Sleif, i'm ready to discuss our plans." Blake said as he took out a danger and started spinning it with his finger.

The announcer noted Caralydia and nodded, anouncing, "Her Highness, Princess Caralyida Naomi-Lea Atrum the Seventh."

The girl nodded and walked in, her curiousity showing quite obviously; she had been gazing at everything around her, there was so much to see! What looked like every person in the kingdom had gathered in the grand castle. She slowly looked up at the paintings, examining each of them carefully.

...As he danced with lenis, he was about to discuss the peace treaty and try to get to know her better, when a man walked up to them. He was the man she had waved at Earlier. He wispered into her ear "Len, I'm going on an adventure here soon, if you want to come get ready soon, but I prefer you not, I do not want to indanger you. This adventure is different from our others. If your coming then meet me right outside the palace in fifteen minutes, if you don't then I understand." Noctis didn't want to hear, but the man was a little too loud. As the man walked away, Noctis looked at Lenis and asked "would you like to stay and dance or go now?. I can even give a lift to him later in the helicopter if you want to stay for longer" he said as he smiled at her.

Sleif was thoroughly enjoying the time he was spending looking at all the fine and exquisite items that belonged to the royal family. Painting after painting done buy no one but the finest artists in the land were dotted around the walls, to which Sleif could name and tell at least something about the work of art that hung before him. Holding onto his staff as he continued to admire the impressive pieces of art, Sleif almost didn't notice Blake exiting the ballroom before walking up to him.

"Hey Sleif, I'm ready to discuss our plans." Blake said to Sleif as he took out a single dagger, twirling it around with one finger. Smiling a little at that, Sleif turned slowly around to Blake still holding onto his black marble staff before moving his free hand pointing it towards a more quiet part of the area. "Very well then! We should sit though to talk, don't you agree?" replied Sleif as he moved towards the area, taking a seat in a large expensive looking armchair.

Relaxing his entire cloaked body in the chair, Sleif slowly laid his staff against the side of it, in a position that would allow him to hold onto the item when getting up. "Please, take a seat, and tell me your, or should I say our plans." said Sleif as he waited to hear what Blake was proposing for this little journey.

"Very well then! We should sit though to talk, don't you agree?" Sleif said as he moved towards the area. Blake followed Sleith to a set of chairs. Blake put his dagger back in the holster.

Sleif insisted "Please, take a seat, and tell me your, or should I say our plans." Blake sat down in a chair infront of him. "Well first let me tell you why I needed you." Blake said as a waiter came by and gave him a glass of wine. As Blake took a sip, he said. "I need you so maybe I will get a little trust from the 6th Oracle. I need the 6th Oracle so I can find the crystal i'm looking for. I've traveled around the world, and studied the crystals. The crystal I want is the Crystal of the Necromancer, its dark nature will help me furfill my goal in life."
Blake sat the glass on the table, then thought back to Certo. "My plan is to make this world peaceful." Blake said he looked around. "Also, I have another question for you. What side are you aligned with, the light, or the dark?" Blake said grinning.

Certo printed informtation off of his computer. There were many pages. Most of the pages had symbols on them that Certo could read but another page had transations for the symbols. He also had information on books and museums that talked about the Chrystals.

"This will help me with my plan. Why didnt I think of this earlier." he said.

He could here Aurora playing in her room. He went to his kitchen to get something to drink. He brought the cup with him as he sat down and started to read the pages.

Vox walked out onto his garden. He carried with him a shotgun. He stood on the yard as the sun began to set. His butler walked up beside him.

"Sir, are you ready for the fiends?"

"Yes. It's been a while since I hunted."

"Yes sir."

The butler walked up to the house a pushed a small button on the wall. The ground opened into two holes as a platform arose from them. Roaring could be heard. The platforms rose all the way. On the platforms were two Chimeras.

Vox aimed his shotgun.

"I only have three shots."

His butler went inside the house and locked the door.

"Good luck Mr. Vir." he said.

"Well first let me tell you why I needed you."said Blake after taking one of the seats Sleif had offered, and received his glass of wine from the waiter he had also called over. "Please do tell. I'm sure what you have to say though is quite important to want to see someone I had not in, quite some time." Sleif replied to Blake as his red eyes watched him from underneath his darkened cloak hood. "I need you so maybe I will get a little trust from the 6th Oracle. I need the 6th Oracle so I can find the crystal i'm looking for. I've traveled around the world, and studied the crystals. The crystal I want is the Crystal of the Necromancer, its dark nature will help me furfill my goal in life." Blake said to Sleif, who leaned back in the large armchair taking in what he had just said.

"The Necromancer Crystal you say? That's quite bold of you to be looking for something like that!" the mysterious man said to Blake, though what he heard next caused even Sleif to be slightly confused. "My plan is to make this world peaceful." Blake said to which Sleif nodded in response. "Also, I have another question for you. What side are you aligned with, the light, or the dark?" the man asked Sleif with a grin on his face, causing Sleif to smile within the darkness of his hood, as he leaned back in the large chair thinking.

"In my life, nothing is as simply as that. Sides change, as do circumstances concerning those in these situations. Whether light and darkness are against one another or not is of no concern to me, as I would have thought would be your view as well." Sleif said to Blake before he once again leaned forward towards him. "But if you wish to know what is my view, I am aligned with that which can allow me to view the sights of the crystals." Upon saying that, Sleif turned his cloaked head to the side, staring up at the large clock face that signaled it to be after midnight.

With a tired and almost stiffness sound escaping from him, Sleif stood up from the large chair using the large black staff he carried as leverage to keep himself from falling over, as he continued to still face Blake. "Time seems to be escaping from us with each passing moment doesn't it. I would suggest that we begin if you still would like to that is?" asked Sleif as he turned slightly away from Blake waiting to hear what he had to say. "Also, anyone that you wished to accompany us, I'm sure shouldn't effect your meeting greatly." the mysterious Sleif said as he fully turned away from Blake admiring one of the largest paintings in the entrance hall as he waited until Blake was ready for the journey.

"Do not worry about me, I'll remain here until you are completely ready, I'm fully aware of what is to come. Though, I hope you and anyone else will be just as well."
