Re: Disney Steampunk Art, Possible Kingdom Hearts

GoNintendo - Epic Mickey - first gameplay details
- use the Wiimote to paint your way through the landscape
- draw/etch/erase levels as you progress through them
- story based on old and forgotten Disney characters that are out for revenge against Mickey

Sounds weird, but I can roll with some originality.
(That pretty much settles that it's not KH, if it hasn't been settled.)

It's already in GVG, where it belongs.

Re: Disney Steampunk Art, Possible Kingdom Hearts

It could be that he went on to be something great, while the rest of them were completely forgotten. Or it could even be Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, which was a character who was replaced by Mickey Mouse as Disney's main cartoon.

Re: Disney Steampunk Art

That sounds really good. Donald, Goofy, and the others are mad cause they were forgotten. Love that kinda thing.

Donald and Goofy weren't forgotten. They are popular characters today. Please tell me I am the only one who has a decent idea of who the characters are.

Re: Disney Steampunk Art

Could some of these characters be that hen, cow and uhh, that other thing that appeared in KH2 in Timeless River?

I wouldn't bet on those old characters but it might be possible.

Edit: Steamboat Willie was the name of the movie, I couldn't remember. :p

I thought I saw some black and white small versions of those characters in the drawing of the beach. But I'd need to check it again.

Re: Disney Steampunk Art

At least someone is thinking. Those characters were considered party of Mickey's gang back in the old black and white days. I forgot the hen's name, but other characters are Horace the Horse and Clarabelle the Cow. You never heard of them because their characters were dropped. They weren't popular like Donald and Goofy. I'm sure that other characters from that period are being used in this game. Most likely, the motivation is jealous.

I'd heard of the characters before, personally, I used to watch the old Walt era Disney cartoons actually (but mostly I'd watch Wayne's era) so I knew the characters. I'd love to see more of the characters from that period.

But yeah, it probably is jealousy.

Re: Disney Steampunk Art

I'm pretty damn sure the characters who would want revenge against Mickey are the REALLY old Disney characters. Such as Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, Horace Horsecollar, and Clarabelle Cow(or whatever her name is). Those singing flowers too. Definitely.

Re: Disney Steampunk Art

I vaugely remember one of Mickey's old school rivals that I think went unnoticed for a long time.
Morty or Mortimer I think was his name I'm not completly sure. Whether or not if he would be in the game.

Re: Disney Steampunk Art

I read that the game is being done by Warren Spector. Didn't he do system shock and a bunch of other FPS's? I would doubt it would being a FPS, like someone already mentioned.

Re: Disney Steampunk Art

It's apparently supposed to be a 3D Platform game. Disney described it as a "Mario Killer" last year. Though I doubt it will live up to that, it still looks like it could turn out fun.
