Re: Disney Steampunk Art, Possible Kingdom Hearts

If it's for Wii, than I most certainly hope it's NOT KH3.

Re: Disney Steampunk Art, Possible Kingdom Hearts

Hmm...I highly doubt that the next installation in the Kingdom Hearts series will be involving zombielike mechanical creatures resembling the Disney cast, especially those resembling Donald and Goofy, who are, aside from Sora, the most active protagonists of the series. Besides, as others have previously said, this concept art hardly resembles anything from the Kingdom Hearts games that we've seen so far. Overall, it seems rather dark, especially for Disney, which leads me to believe that this game will hardly sell well at all, if at all.

Agreed. Way too dark for KH, let alone Disney.

If there is a slim chance of this being KH related (I doubt it is though) my guess is that this is the "other game" Nomura mentioned recently. But as I said, I doubt it is KH.

Concept art looks great. Hopefully Disney doesn't fuck it over in development.

Pretty-looking visuals with hopefully old-school platforming? They can't possibly screw that uuup

Re: Disney Steampunk Art, Possible Kingdom Hearts

This game has nothing to do with Kingdom Hearts, there's no possiblity that it is a spin-off, and those black things are not heartless.Whoever thinks this is a Kingdom hearts game is a complete retard. The concept art of Goofy in this game should be proof enough.

Re: Disney Steampunk Art, Possible Kingdom Hearts

It's nothing KH related. Only relation - Disney.

Disney is actually coming out with quite a few good looking games in the next few years that are not movie or KH related. So it would be nice to see where this one goes or what it is for that matter.

That art looks more of mutated Disney character droids than actual KH material. Though have to admit, some of the art reminded me of Ansem's Castle.

It's not Kingdom Hearts. It's a title made by Warren Spector. It will most likely be a first person RPG/Shooter.

Mmm, so apparently it's for the Wii;

Spector's "Epic Mickey" Is For The Wii - Epic mickey - Kotaku

So, I quite frankly don't know what to think of this game yet--I don't think anyone really does. xD The art is fantastic, no doubt about it, it's just odd seeing all these 'dark' drawings being based upon Disney characters.
I'm interested though, I'll be following this as it goes along.

I love the Monstro. The bits of Epcot and Hollywood Studios are awesome.

Judging by the concept art in the Kotaku article, that probably isn't too far off. At least it seems to be about these steampunk monstrosities preying on the more innocent normal Disney characters.

well, they showed us the epcot dome, all that's left is the castle, the water tower, and the tree.
