Don't know if anyone noticed this but Both Vanitas and Xehanort's Keyblades are tricked-out different.
Well, of course they're different! There's the master and his apprentice and both have different Keyblades.
But the point is, Vanitas's Keyblade has an eye, while Xehanort's has a Lionface on it. It's like both dark Keyblades share a recarnating relationship or something, like the apprentice's Keyblade would soon evolved into Xehanort's.
Don't know if anyone noticed this but Both Vanitas and Xehanort's Keyblades are tricked-out different.

Oh, and if you notice on these two screenshots, we don't see Ven on the first screen, but on the second one we see his feet.

or maybe some villain/MX told terra to get kairi cuz she's a BwHoPL and Aqua was told to protect Kairi.. so they both HAVE to do what they're told so they fight it out.

I got a theory for why the Keyblades are on the platform, its probably a foreshadowing of Terra and Aqua fighting about something that relates to Ven. But I kind of doubt that theory now because its the Kingdom Key, which Terra picked up in the Secret Ending, and the Way to Dawn, which Ven picked up (I think). Or it could also mean something that happens between Terra and Ven.

-Vanitas confronting Ven in the TGS 09 trailer
-and in the previous early trailers of Ven on the ground and Vanitas approaching him, and Mickey coming to Ven's rescue,
IN ADDITION to these two new scenes of Mickey on the ground defeated, and Ven crying, and both Ven and Mickey getting sucked into the void...
all together that makes one whole scene.
So my guess is Vanitas must have done something to Mickey as well.
