Same here. MR. don't seem overly dependent on each other like SDGJ nor are they as dorky. Plus when MR be serious you take it seriously, but when SDGJ are together and they are trying to be serious you can't take it seriously cause one of them always ends up F*cking up the moment.

Mickey ran to Riku, not Donald and Goofy, in the KH2 ending.

I wouldn't say that. I really doubt that Donald and Goofy won't be part of the joint effort, and then Riku has a Keyblade. By definition he can be helpful in ways those two can't.
Or maybe Mickey just doesn't trust Donald and Goofy anymore after disobeying him twice XD;;;

No, I didn't mean it like that.

I don't mean Donald and Goofy WON'T be apart of this, just that instead of running to the people he grew up with, he ran instead to Riku (who can call him just Mickey, unlike Donald and Goofy who refer to him as "King Mickey" or "You're Majesty")

Well, to be nitpicky they both fill high ranking positions in Mickey's court. They need to at least keep up appearances and I can only imagine it stayed to minor chit-chats.
But that's part of why I love Riku and Mickey's BFFness. Titles and ranks mean nothing and they accept each other as just friends.

One of my pet scenes that keep running in my mind is something along the lines of KH2's Hollow Bastion. Mickey's in a pinch and he orders everyone to run away and save themselves. Riku joins him in the fight, telling Mickey he doesn't take orders from him xD
