What is happening, this is really strange and unexpected, even for Homestuck
It's the first time (at least that I can recall) that Hussie used a bit of retcon. John's arm was in those panels all along. There is probably not plot significance with his arm being everywhere. Just a joke. Don't really see how it's strange for Homestuck. Seems like a very Homestuck-y thing to happen, honestly.
It basically explains how English was here all along, etc. It doesn't seem strange to me.
