First Appearance: KINGDOM HEARTS III (2018) Flynnigan Rider is the titular character of "The Tales of Flynnigan Rider", a book about a rich and dashing swashbuckler who had an abundance of thrilling adventures wherever he went. Eugene Fitzherbert dreamt of leaving the Orphanage where he grew up and have adventures of his own. Once he finally left, he took on the name of Flynn Rider and became a legendary thief. He, alongside the Stabbington Brothers, steal a crown from the Kingdom of Corona. While in pursiut of the Guards, Flynn decieves the Stabbington Brothers and run off with the crown. He is chased by Max, a horse enlisted by the Guards, until they both fall down a cliff. Flynn finds himself in front of a tower hidden away in Corona's countryside. Sneaking into the tower, Flynn meets Rapunzel who knocks him out with a frying pan. Regaining consciousness, the two make a deal. He will escort her to the Kingdom of Corona so she can view the Floating Lanterns and he gets to leave with the crown. Along the way, Flynn and Rapunzel encounter Sora, Donald, and Goofy. They team up and take down the Heartless that stand between them and the Kingdom of Corona. |
