Working as a mercenary for Hades, Cloud's enigmatic and stoic persona hides a painful past as he embarks a frantic search for his lost memories. Cheated by Hades following his inability to kill Hercules, Cloud apologizes for his actions and begins a solitary journey once more. Before he leaves, Sora reminds him that truly important memories are never gone, and sometimes the smallest thing can cause the memories to come rushing back. Although he rejects Sora's offer to join him on his quest, he expresses his gratitude by lending his power to Sora in battle. |
