Clearly notable through his electric blue skin, the Genie has one big personality that shines just as bright as his golden bracelets. When first introduced to Sora and co. in Kingdom Hearts, the Genie appears as Aladdin's loyal servant who assists the young men in clearing the entire area of heartless. It is learned that due to the elimination of heartless Aladdin has used one of his three wishes granted by the Genie. Soon after Aladdin promises that he will use his final wish to free Genie from his lamp, also known as his "prison". Sora then bears witness to Genie's outgoing nature as well as his everlasting friendship with Aladdin. Despite Jafar taking advantage of Genie as part of his evil scheme, all is turned well again and Aladdin does fulfill his promise of freeing the Genie as his final wish. In Re: Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, Sora returns to Agrabah only to find history repeating itself! In need of assistance, the Genie appears as a powerful summon card to Sora. Whenever called upon the Genie makes a powerful appearance and attacks heartless at will. |
