I just think it would be interesting, not everything has to have meaning in order to interesting.

She's the one that tampered his Darkness, but we don't know to what extent. He seems to have pulled the Dark form out on his own - or, with XH's help. He seemed to not be too surprised when he saw him right before he was possessed by him.

Agreed, When Riku and XH talked on HB, after Sora gets the keyblade back, i doubt it first time they actually talked.
Maybe on DI before it was destroyed, and Riku and XH could have met..
