yes, as a matter of fact i do...... i liked Marc
PFFFT. Why didn't you ever post in my SYTYCD thread in the Media section then? >:[
I love Mark, but I wish he wasn't kicked off...
But i also like all of the Top 4 =/

Elenar means lightning demon
Luxord's name is actually a reference to a casino game Luxor.

Casino...gambling?
Except that can't be his non-Nobody name =/
But i do like the reference.

We never said all of them had a meaning. It's too coincidental to be a coincidence. >_>
And we did find a Larxene one.

Yes, don't, because the name doesn't have anything to do with water. Ion obviously does, so that has to be her name. I mean ionized water, makes perfect sense. Oh! Oh! No wait, there's Nickel Oxide--> NiO. I mean, Xion could be worth around a Nickel, and she probably breaths Oxygen. She must be Nio.

I was actually going to post the Lumaria bit. I think it's a pleasant coincidence to tell the truth. And, as I said we don't know, I never said that they don't have meaning.

By all means, please look for a meaning for Larxene, Luxord, Saix, Axel, Braig, Eleaus, Ienzo, Even, and Dilan.

When I type in "Dilan" in Wiki I get "Halay", which is apparantly a popular dance in the Middle East. :/

I'm just screwing around. But, I know that "Elaeus" (spelled differently from Eleaus) is a greek city in Thracian Chersonese, according to Wikipedia.

I doubt the original apprentices had any real meaning to their names, but still. It's fun to see what kind of stuff pops up when you do a bit of research.

And I'm finding nothing on "Elenar" on google. Link? Incidentally, the first place I found to have the lightning demon thing was another topic here. :/

Darn it. Beat me to it.

The Dilan thing could refer to his fighting style and whirling-dervishness.

Alright, I found out some stuff, guys.

Apparantly, Elenar is pronounced like "Elenor".

"Elenor," in Arabic, means "God is my Light"

God is my light= god of light= lightning god= lightning demon?

That may be where people got it from.
