Land of Dragons was bad in KHII, but so were all the worlds that were a piss-poor synopsis of the movie with Sora taped on. With KHIII stated to have the Disney words more tied to the games' plot, so if this world appears, I'm willing to give it a second chance.

If KH III's worlds are as well-made as they're assuring us, I wouldn't mind re-visiting a bunch of KH II worlds to give them justice.
...they can leave Port Royal out though.

I would prefer Port Royal returning over Land of Dragons. At least the Pirate films have four sequels worth of content for KH3

I would say UNFORTUNATELY the Pirates film got four sequels, but whatever.
I would seriously not want any of that "content" in KH. Heck, I didn't want it in theaters.

As long as the world isn't as bad as it was in KH2 then I'm fine with it returning. Don't know what they could do for plot other than the sequel, unless they go the KH1 route and mix it's own plot with parts of the movie.

this is intresing to specualte it could be a lot of things at this point from kingdom hearts 3,sofia the first to the happily ever after show the best she could of done is not mention she working unlike someone we know *cough jessie mccarthy*

I actually think using a world that doesn't have many movies to use as plot is better, because I much prefer original plots to putting Sora in the movie plot. Just use the setting and characters and make something new, that way it'll be easier to tie it into the whole plot too and the worlds might feel less like useless filler.

Yeah I agree. I don't wanna play some movie plot so that wouldn't be much of a problem.

If this is for KH3 then I just don't know what they're thinking. From what we've heard, KH3 is gonna be light on the Disney returning worlds so why would you waste a spot on a return to Land of Dragons. I liked the role it played in KH2 but what is there to make a return there worth while when there are other worlds with but better sequel material to use.

Gimme Agrabah so I can see Al's Dad and the Vanishing Isle. Gimme Port Royal so I can see the Davy Jones saga and a boss battle with the Kraken. Hell, gimme Castle of Dreams cause Twist in Time was a pretty good sequel. Nearly anything but Mulan II which was a lame a$$ escort mission which made Mushu unbearable.

Honestly? I'd take Land of Dragons over Port Royal and ESPECIALLY Agrabah any day.

The WORLD doesn't necessarily need to come back and be playable again for Mulan to show up. Peter Pan showed up as a summon in KH2, and he had been a party member in KH1

Plot Twist: Kairi was not a Princess but was used in KH1 because she's a Guardian and Ansem did some maguffin to her to make her of pure Light, and Mulan is actually one of the seven Princesses.
The heroes will defeat the Norts but Xehanort will still get the X-Blade due to this.

I wouldn't. What exactly would make you excited to revisit Land of Dragons again because Agrabah and Port Royal have way more interesting content left to explore. I liked LoD in KH2 but I just don't think there's anything interesting left to do in that world.

There wan't anything in the first place, that's the thing.
It's not because we felt we did everything already in KH II, it's because this could be a chance to actually make us do something there.
At least for me, I can't speak for everyone.

And I only talk about the gameplay and exploration possibilities, I'm not really interested in any movie-related plot and agree that original stories would be better.

If they bring Port Royal back then they'd have to think of some new gimmick to make it as unique as it was in KH2.

KH2 used the moonlight and magic status effects, but magic is going to have those effects on all enemies now. I haven't seen the movies in some time so it's hard to think of ideas that would work.


I mean, they don't HAVE to use Mulan II. I personally found the second visit to be much more interesting than the first, so they could do something like that.

Ouch. I think Agrabah has been a solid world in KH. Not great but particularly bad in any of its appearances (cept KH2 maybe). And I'm a big POTC fan so I loved seeing it in KH2.

port royal didnt really agrabrah coukd fit in kh3 with the third movie in alddin and the king of thieves

Port Royal and Agrabah would at least give us new locations. The most I could see with LoD is a wider landscape and livelier imperial city compared to KH2

I guess it (not surprisingly) comes down to how KH III will perform.
One could think a million ways to do a world in a cool manner with tons of interesting areas, but there's not enough information.

A possible LoD could be one or two new areas or, say, a gigantic rice field with tons of exploration and gimmicks. Who knows.
