And for a sequel... it must be done CAREFULLY (and hopefully focus on the reapers) but I think it is possible.

Again,its a rare game that makes you want to have a sequel (because it is so unique and original) But don't (so it is not destroyed)

I don't see how they could make a remake for the Wii without losing the integrity of the battle system, which is one of its best parts.

If they did do a sequel, they could probably find something to do, but it would have to be done well.

Sequels aren't often known for being better than the original.

Yeah, it was made specifically for the DS so I doubt hte battle will be worked out well on the Wii

But on the sequel, that's why I said carefully. I REALLY don't want a "Different names. different place, same people" Kind of sequel, I want one where they explore more of the world they hinted at existing. The Reapers talk about ALOT of things that are never actually explored later, but at there to give the world depth... I want to learn more about those things.

And for the main storyline and hte characters to be different, not Neku/Shiki/Joshua/Beat clones

Well, I definitely wouldn't want the characters to be clones, but I wouldn't mind if the original characters came back in some capacity. It just wouldn't be TWEWY without them, in my eyes.

I also want there to be more about the history of the Reapers, how the Composer came to be the Composer, why the UG exists in the first place, and other such things that deal more with the actual UG aspect of the game, and less on the humans playing the Game, although I'd want that, too.

The only thing I could really think of is having some of the main cast being able to see the game somewhat.

Neku played the game 4 TIMES for goodness sake. Beat WAS a reaper, Rhyme was a noise and Shiki was held captive for 2weeks

They have a LONG history with the game

Well, I don't see how they'd be able to watch over the game. It's not like they'll participate- they can't all go through it again, the chances are too low.

However, there has to be some way that they could be included.

Not "Watch over" More like Neku keeps on seeing players and noise out of the corner of his eye. Or if something goes wrong in the UG he can sense it, even if he can't interact. Something like that.

Needless to say, a sequel to TWEWY for the Wii can't be any shittier than all the shovelware Wii games that are currently piled like a steaming heap of delicious scat.

I'd still buy it if just to use my rotting system that is the Wii.

Except that's not an actual sequel. It's just a remake. Also, the original source was IGN, which isn't much better than wikipedia.

And didn't they make TWEWY to be specifically for the DS, to usher in the console? That they were only going to make it for the DS, which is why it's so DS-oriented?

If they were trying to "usher in" the DS, I think the missed their boat by a couple of years.

Well, they were planning it before the DS was ever announced, so that's what I meant by usher in. It was meant to be DS exclusive.

I doubt a sequel will be made. I can see TWEWY becoming a manga series, but a sequel (especially on the Wii) isn't clicking for me.

For those of you with little scarletite, beating the beat boss on ultimate is a great way to get Dark Matter. That was definitely the easiest way for me, as that was really the only material I lacked.

I find beating Pi Face's Taboo Noise is the easiest way to get Dark Matter, because it's a fairly easy battle
