I beat Beat (Haha) for my Dark matter. It's a really battle. Shiki, Day 4. Go to the left right from where you start. Put your drop rate at 33.5% and chain 3 battles. Rinse, Lather, Repeat.

Yeah, that's what I do too. I usually enter a chain battle and make sure to include the blue noise symbol when trying to get Dark Matter.

For those of you with little scarletite, beating the beat boss on ultimate is a great way to get Dark Matter. That was definitely the easiest way for me, as that was really the only material I lacked.

Same here.

I find beating Pi Face's Taboo Noise is the easiest way to get Dark Matter, because it's a fairly easy battle

Are you kidding? That fucker gave me the most trouble out of any boss in the game.

It's funny because I find Beat harder than Tabooty. I suppose it just depends on what type of pins are your mains. I use Blue Blood Burns Blue as my main, usually along with Final Pyre, All Expire

Beat's fight isn't as complicated, and you dont get you butt handed to ya each time. My personal opinion of course.

Usually mine is Pyrokinesis combined with a Patrol Rounds pin and a Grave Marker... I would post it all, but at the moment I don't particularly have a set deck considering I'm still trying to get all the pins

I rarely change my pins even if I do get news ones. Anyway, my deck goes like this:

Kanesada (Shockwave)

Fresh Line (Grave Marker)

Lightning Rage (Vortex Saber)

Big Bang (Nexus Ray)

Big Crunch (Nexus Ray)

Blown Kiss (Subconscious)

Haven't played in a while, though. :/ Need to get back to playing.

I use the Planet pins. That's all

I would use all Planet pins if I had them all, but the lack of a Shockwave pin is a turn off for me. I may use some others together though.

Anyway, here's my current deck:

  • Kanesada (Shockwave) - As I said, I have to have a Shockwave pin, and this is probably the best one there is. Though, Yoshimitshu could probably be considered better, or at least equal, due to it's six more uses. However, you can get more uses out of a Shockwave than is actually listed by starting a new combo in it's "last" use, so I just ignore that.
  • Ohabari (Grave Marker) - I added this solely to level up and master it since I just recently got it as well as for the sake of having another physical attack to take out those damned red frogs. Though, in retrospect, the latter cause would have been far better served with Fresh Line, so I think I'll fix that...
  • Excalibur (Lightning Bolt) - 170 Attack, six uses and a three second reboot; it's a ridiculously powerful pin and I love it.
  • Cornix (Apport) - 133 Attack, eight uses and a three second reboot. It's here for essentially the same reason as Excalibur. Besides that, I just love dropping a truckload of rocks on enemies.
  • Anguis (Nexus Ray) - This is only here because I felt like leveling something up during my grinding, although I should probably go through some pins that can be mastered much more quickly and cover ground faster. Can say I recommend a pin with only one use, even if it is as strong as it is.
  • Peace Full (Cure Drink) - Because I would be fucking stupid to not have a healing pin on me and I consider this pin to be the best of it's type.

Well, that's not the best shape my deck has been in. That would typically include some of these other favorites:

  • Final Pyre, All Expired (Pyrokinesis) - Pretty dependable pyro pin with high attack and duration, and there is really no downside to having a good field covering pin.
  • Drake (Flame Blast) - 131 Attack, five second duration and three second reboot? Please and thank you. I tend to alternate it with Cornix since they are both Angel Class.
  • Lolita Bat (Force Rounds) - I love how this pin can juggle pretty much any foe I meet and rack up a lovely combo while it's at it.
  • Popguin (Force Rounds) - Pretty powerful bullet pin that penetrates (tee hee penetrate) and has 10 uses. Six second reboot isn't all that bad either.
  • Black Saturn (Dark Barrier) - Makes for an amazing recovery pin if used properly. The fact that it reboots unlike Creepy Weepy Barrier is a huge plus.
  • Electric Warning/Lightning Rook (Lightning Arrester) - Lightning Arrester pins are pretty nice and these two are the best of the limited bunch. Electric Warning is technically the more powerful of the two and reboots in half the time, it fires two bolts in a V-formation, which can make aiming a bit more difficult than with Lightning Rook, which fires only on in a straight line.
  • Lazy Bomber (Time Bomb) - Laying down several high power explosives at any point on the screen in such a manner that you are pretty much guaranteed to hit enemies on screen several times over is quite satisfying, especially if you get creative with it.

tl;dr I type too much.

Oh, do I want this pin so badly. I'm a sucker for Nexus Ray type pins. >:

But yeah, pretty awesome decks Vandread.

Yeah geez Alexx, shut up XD

But anywho, the Black Saturn is a great pin to use, although in a combination with other mover pins ie. Pyro, Lightning Bolt etc. it can become a bit difficult, unless you put it on Sub of course.

There was a pin I only got today that i find great... It's one of the Pegaso ones... Her Royal Highness. It's great in my deck I find, the current one especially considering I have an Anguis in there with Black Mars and Blue Blood Burns Blue

Haha, thanks. Like I said though, Anguis maybe powerful, but it only has one use, which sucks. On top of that, it takes forever to level up.

Meant to say can't in the previous post, by the way.

I know what you mean, though I rarely use the Sub setting. A clusterfuck of pin effects is much more fun :D!

I got that pin just recently as well, but as good as it is, it's and Angel class and I'm not willing to depart with Cornix/Drake.

That is does unfortunately

Yeah, that's a serious downfall of it

The good ones usually work out that way. Not to mention some, if not most, of them are a pain to obtain. (At least, in my opinion.)

And, yes, I knew what you meant in your previous post. =)

EDIT: And now my liking towards this game is renewed again. :D!

Now, to get that Anguis... :/

At the moment, my deck looks something like this

Peace Full - Meh, I'm a bandwagon fan. Easy to use, 5 uses, what's not to like?

Ice Risers - Get off me. This pin may have almost no use, but it's not too bad for dealing out some pretty good damage, as well as a great combo starter.

Kanesada - Yoshimitsu, not as good. I too just use the last little bit to get in a full combo.

Final Pyre, All Expired - Gawd, I love this pin. Pretty much my #1 must have.

Lightning Rook - Love this pin, it's a recent addition. AH. NEED. EXCALIBER. :[.

Yeah, I only have five slots. I'm workin' on it, okay?
