Sending out my soul to worlds more beautiful
OOC: Sorry about the late entry post, everyone.

IC: The cool breeze caressed her cheek, tugging at the loose locks of brown as she drove down the block, she knew that Biotech wasn't far off. Her thoughts in complete order, Senka pulled up to the security guard, her blue Mustang stopping smoothly. Reaching over to the passenger seat she listened to the man as he asked, "What can I help you with?"

Grabbing the letter she handed it over, watching him scan it she returned his cold stare with one of her own. "I'm here for the scholarship meeting, sir." She said, her violet eyes remaining alight.

Nodding his head, she paid close attention to his instructions, when he had finished and allowed her to continue on her way. She did just that. Finally, reaching the required area, she parked the Mustang and opened the door. Stepping out she wore her normal tank-top, black jeans and sneakers just like every other day. Her short hair showed signs that she come here right after she took a shower.

Looking ahead of her at the doors, she broke into a run, reach them she took a steadying breath before she pushed it open. Her gaze searched the lobby, finding what she needed and the woman behind the counter. Senka's face remained emotionless as she walked over, reaching the woman she said, "Excuse me, I was wondering where the scholarship meeting is being held?"

The woman's gaze searched her appearance as she replied, "This way, and at least you don't seem to be like those couple of punks."

Groaning mentally since that was the last thing she wanted, Senka followed the woman as she went down the right hall. A small, tiny spark of surprise came to her eyes when they reached a door. "Wait a minute ma'am, I just have to check with the doctor."

Doctor? Why would they need a doctor here? She thoguht, the rapping on the door cut into her thoughts. Watching as the woman lowered her fist and asked, "Dr Dantez, there's another one here, would you like me to send her in?"

~---------~

OOC: There you go, and why am I think it could have turned out better?

Shifting through the spaces like only Mist can.
Hiro just blinks at the girl as she talks to him but then just looks where the lady is leading them. She stops at a door and tells the two to go inside for the scholarship spec. Hiro walks in after Kisara and realizes that the door is locked almost instantly. At that moment he raises his guard and looks around as the smell of burning paper fills the air. He then spies a puddle of blue liquid and looks to the other students. Realizing that something is amiss, he steps away from the girl, just to prevent any possible throws from hitting her, and looks at all of the scientists. The girl too seems to realize what is going on at the current moment, for the most part, and yells out just before getting attacked by some of the doctors.

"Now that's just rude."

He instantly grabs a third doctor running pass him and slams him against the wall. The man yells out which alerts the others of the little fight between the two college kids and the scientists. Hiro just smiles as he concentrates on his breathing and finds his center just in time to slam one of the three charging at him head-first into the wall and flipping the second one into the third. Now fueled only by instinct, Hiro looks to one of the two on the floor and raises his leg high into the air. He then snaps it down into the back of the man and hears an audible snap the spells out the breaking of at least two bones. Hiro then looks to another group charging at him and raises his fists as he bounces on the balls of his feet before throwing a punch. The punch lands in the nose of the first and a second punch lands in the sternum of a second while the third avoids a snap kick entirely. Hiro smiles at the skill that the last one must have until he realizes that one more snuck up behind him.

The man pulls Hiro's arms behind his back and yells out, "Get another for this guy!"

Hiro growls as he tries to think of a way to get out when he realizes one of the most basic aspects of Akido. He then finds his center once more and puts all of his weight available into the force of him slamming the back of his head into the face of the man that has him. The attack lands with a sickening crunch and the grip loosens just in time for Hiro to be injected with a vial of the blue liquid. He just looks at the man that used the needle and slams his fist into his forehead. The attack sends the man back a few feet but he still gets up and tries to pin Hiro again. Had Hiro not been have out already, he would have been able to do something to prevent what is happening and falls down to his knees. His head soon hits the floor but he doesn't really feel it happen. He then fells that he is being dragged to the other students and listens to what they are saying.

"Then get this one in and fast."

The man with the crushed nose just groans and manages to say, "Or get this beast in there next!"

OOC: It may seem like I'm copyin', but I just went with what I thought would really happen in that case. I mean, he is a martial artist.

“Yes its fine, please escort her to where the other students currently are.” Dr. Dantez said after slightly opening the door and turning his head to look at the young woman who had arrived.
“I’m sorry I could not properly speak with you, Miss Moon but I have other business I really that requires my attention right now.” Dr. Dantez said quickly shutting the door before anyone else could say more.

Ken remained silent as he paid close attention to the screen of the device he was handed a few minutes ago. Watching how new blips suddenly appeared on screen while others seemed to completely vanish. Ken was certain however that the ones that vanished where no longer physically in this world meaning that they would have to be currently in Genesis.

“So I give you some time to think about it like you requested, so what are you going to Ken?” Dr. Dantez asked looking at his son despite knowing exactly what the answer would be as there really wasn’t any other option he had given him. “I really have no other choice now, do I?” Ken asked rhetorically staring up from the device and glaring at his father after hearing his question.

A few minutes later Ken was standing at the top of a walkway ramp, staring directly at a strange gate which was right now probably about less then a foot in front of him. After putting the device he had received from his father into the right side pocket of his jeans, Ken then adjust the straps of the backpack he was currently wearing and waited for the transfer to commence. Though he really had no idea what exactly to expect on the other side of the gate, he about theoretically what could possibly be at the other end from the notes he read initially on the project a few years back. Then suddenly a bright light covered the room and despite how Ken tried desperately to keep his eyes open so that he could see exactly what happened when a person passes through the gate firsthand he found himself having shut his eyes complete because of the blinding light.

Opening his eyes Ken found himself staring off into a distance red sky and then he immediately looked down at himself. Looking at his body and moving his limbs, Ken did a quick check to make sure he was still intact after crossing dimensions.
“So is everyone alright?” Ken said staring at the people that were currently in Genesis and knowing that they couldn’t stand around still for too long.

An enchanted castle. That's what college is called
Devin woke up and sat up rubbing his eyes. He was still a little groggy from the medicine. Devin took a look around and noticed that wherever he was there was a red sky. He looked around until he saw some of the others around him. He had no idea what was going on. He didn't even remember how he got here. The last thing he remembered was falling out on the chairs. Devin stood up and stretched to get the kinks out.
“So is everyone alright?”
Devin turned to the person that had spoken. He was addressing the whole group. Devin had seen him earlier in the meeting room, but the two were never formally introduced.
"Yeah, I'm good. Where the hell are we? What the heck is going on?" Devin said.

Umm....
Sakura was still lying on the bed, due to the headache that she had from the blue liquid that was injected into her body. Suddenly, she saw other students being carried into another room and wondered what was going on. Then, a doctor came over to check and checked up on the health of her body. Afterwards, one of the doctors lifted her body off from the bed and was taking her somewhere. Sakura suddenly got scared of what was going on and regretted for signing that paper earlier. She tried to fight off the doctor that was carrying her, but she was still feeling weak. They arrived at a room and she saw students being placed in some kind of machine. A bright light had appeared and then the students disappeared into thin air.

"What's going on here? Where is everyone?" she thought to herself, with a confused thought.

The doctor walked over to the machine and placed Sakura down. She tried to break out, but she couldn't. She was feeling weaker than ever and just sat there. A bright light appeared in front of her and she felt her body being "transported" somewhere. Looking up, she saw a red sky and the other students that she had seen earlier.

Dream: Okay, current score! Collage kids: 14; creepy, cheating Doctors with needles: 0.
Me: You got that wrong Dream, it’s collage kids: 16, creepy, cheating Doctors with needles: 0.
Dream: You're right.
Doctors: No fair!
Me: It is too fair you cheating Doctors! Anyway, on with the post.

IC: Hearing what he said, Senka wasn't surprised at this, following the woman down the hall, she watched as they reached the door. “In here miss is the meeting,” the woman said.

Her mind screaming danger, Senka cautiously entered the room. Hearing the door close and click, she whipped around to stare at it. Something's not right. She noted silently, looking around she spotted the liquid on the ground. Staring at it for a moment she realized what it was, panic rising in her chest she exclaimed, "What the----!"

Feeling something sharp in her arm, she looked over to see a doctor to see the needle and the same liquid that was on the floor. "Sorry little girl, but we can't risk the same thing as with the other two," a man whispered. Growling, she felt the drug taking effect before she could react, her vision blurring she watched them pull out the letter and set it on fire. Dumb doctors! She huffed silently, losing consciousness after the thought, she knew someone had picked her up and was carrying her somewhere.

Wherever it was they had reached it a few moments later, catching snip-bits of the conversation she listened as someone, a male said, “Put that girl in Genesis right now!”

Senka tried to grasp this but had no luck, slipping far into the darkness of sleep; she didn’t feel them put her in Genesis. She didn’t know of the trouble that was about to unravel, but what Senka did know was that it was going to be a long day though; that was for sure. Opening her eyes she looked up at the sky, she defiantly didn't like the looks of this new place.

Gabriella watched as other began to appear a few feet from her and the wind blew her hair across her face. She placed her hands in her lap and overlapped them as her crush came through the portal; calmed and collected. She stared at him in shock about he how he could remain so calm and she stood up, dusting off her outfit. Watching the group, she moved in closer to them and brought her hands behind her back as she felt something appear. The backpack that the doctor packed was now hanging off her shoulder and it was filled with a few supplies including a few packs of food, one knife, water bottles and a piece of paper explaining the rules. She skimmed over the page and tried to stop everyone from talking.

“Uhmm… there are towns in this world… who knows what they have but they are checkpoints. Each time we reach a checkpoint, we are able to get supplies and weapons. What do we need weapons for?” She stopped reading and looked up at the group and began to hyperventilate.

Slowly, she began to regain her breath as she skimmed to the end of the letter and read the note at the bottom. “Each of the contestants has an obstacle they over come before their duty is fulfilled.” She handed the letter around the group so everyone could read it and wondered what the obstacle was.

Stepping back, she looked at the ground and tried to think of a plan to get them all out of here. Her cell phone was taken from her at the portal and she had no way to contact anyone. They were stuck in Genesis until they had approval from Biotech or solved their mission whatever that was. Placing her hand on her forehead, she glanced around the area but nothing was within site. Yet at the same time, she felt as if someone or something was watching them, waiting for them to make a move.

"Yeah, I'm good. Where the hell are we? What the heck is going on?"

Opening her eyes, Kisara sat still a moment longer in the hopes that her head would stop spinning. Slowly rising to her feet, the teen was surprised when she felt a weight on her back that wasn't her bag. Pulling the item off, she realized that it was a hunter's quiver, complete with a recurved cherry bow, the string for the bow and two dozen arrows fletched with swan feathers. Kisara couldn't help but let a low whistle of admiration slip past her lips; she was a pretty good archer, but she'd never had a bow as beautiful or as fine as this one.

“Uhmm… there are towns in this world… who knows what they have but they are checkpoints. Each time we reach a checkpoint, we are able to get supplies and weapons. What do we need weapons for? Each of the contestants has an obstacle they over come before their duty is fulfilled.”

Laying a cool sapphire green gaze and Gabriella as she got to her feet, Kisara interjected, "But just what do they plan for us to do? And why in the name of everything that is right and just did those doctors lie to us?

"I think," Kisara continued, this time directing her glare at Ken, "I think that you're involved in this somehow; you're involved in this more then you're letting on. I heard you talking with Dr. Dantez; I couldn't hear the exact words, but I know you two have met before, I'm sure of it. Just who are you anyway, and what's going on here!"

Being the first to be handed the paper Gabriella had read from, Ken held it out in front of him and without even bothering to read a single word written on it or a moment hesitation. Hearing what Kisara yelled at him, Ken chose to ignore her as he tore the piece of paper neatly in two and let go of them allowing the wind to carry the pieces of paper away.
“Biotech is not your friend or even your ally, as to them each and every one of you are all simply expendable.” Ken said in a cold and detached tone of voice as he looked around at everyone, knowing that none of them had any idea what they had gotten themselves into.
“So let me be the very first to congratulate you all for foolishly signing your own lives away for a small sum of money, that you all most likely will never see.” Ken said right before beginning to slowly and sarcastically clap his hands for everyone.

“With that being said, I’m not sure how willing I am to trust a letter by the company that sent us here to most likely die watch us all die…but I guess if there really is some sort of checkpoint in a town, that must also mean there is someplace in that town that could serve as shelter, or at least a place that can be used as a temporary one.” Ken said as he returned to talking in a serious tone and stared off in all four direction for sign of which way to head towards but didn’t seen any possible sign of a town in any of them.
What the hell I am supposed to do? Ken thought gritting his teeth as he wondered how he could possibly figure which way would be best.

Reaching into his pocket Ken pulled out the device his father had handed him earlier that kept track of all the students and hoped something on it would tell him where the nearest town was. Immediately looking at the screen he noticed there was now a new point that flashed on the screen a different color then the greens one that represented everyone with him, and from what he could tell from looking at the vague map quite a distance from them all as well in the north eastern direction. Placing the device pack into his pocket, Ken reached for something behind his back and lifted up his shirt to reveal a handgun. Taking into his hand, Ken checked the clip to see if it was actually loaded, which it was. Turning off the safety, Ken pointed the gun towards the northeast, away from the rest of the group and pulled the trigger in order to see if the gun was in working condition.
“That’s where I’m heading. I don’t know if that’s where the checkpoint is but I’m sure that there is something. Whoever wants to follow me can but I’m not going to force anyone if they don’t want to.” Ken said after firing his gun and looking Gabriella and then back at the rest of the group to see if anyone opposed.

Sakura walked over to the crowd of students that had just entered into this mysterious world. She suddenly felt something heavy on her back and saw that it was a backpack. Bringing the bag around her, she opened it saw that there were a couple of supplies in there that they were going to need. She was kind of shocked when she didn't see a cellphone or any means of communication to the "outside world." Sighing in defeat, she placed the backpack on her back. Suddenly, she saw someone starting to walk to a direction after saying something about a town nearby. Taking out the map that she was in her bag, she noticed that there indeed was a town near here for a checkpoint. Seeing as how he knew the way to get there, Sakura thought it would be best to follow him for the time being.

"What have I gotten myself into? I'm starting to regret it, but that won't get me out of here," she thought to herself.

Holding her head up high, she decided to make this "experience" her best and continued walking towards the town that was getting near and near.

Gabriella watched as Ken tore the instructions apart and they fell to the ground. Was he right? Were they just there to torture for information sake? She crouched down, taking the bag off her shoulder and searched through it for anything else that might be useful. Her outfit still was folded neatly at the bottom of the backpack and she never thought twice about putting it on. After zipping it, she placed it on her back and stood up while shyly looking at Ken. For some reason, she just wanted to follow him even if he was behind this whole thing. She took a quick glance at the machine he held in his hand and then she looked away when he pointed the gun. She flinched when he shot a bullet and stated that he was going in that direction.

“I’m following.” She state in a whisper and began to fiddle her fingers just to keep her eyes off of him.

In the distance a creature in human form watched the group. He sneered at the sight of new bait and he knew their blood would soon be spread over the dirt of this world. He eye caught sight of blonde girl who was the one that created this blood thirsty beast. He jumped on top of his steed and rode off toward the nearest town that was filled with useless material. The sword had stains from the last victim of his hunt and the thought of the blonde haired girl’s scream brought pleasure to his day. She would be the first to die since she was his creator. It was the cycle of nightmares, creator dies by the hand of the feared.

The undead knight walked into the tavern that was filled with other people who were created by some person’s dream and he waited… waited for them to appear since they would easily make it to this town. None of the people in this town would help them but he would point them in the right direction of his favorite place to kill. The forest would be easy enough for him to snatch whoever he wanted, the blonde girl without them even knowing she was gone. That was his master plan right now. He would succeed.

Standing a little off from the rest of the group, she watched and listened to what was being said but never spoke to them. Hearing the soft whistle come from a girl that was her age, maybe even a little older her. For some reason she just felt as if they couldn’t trust one of the members.

Her attention drifting back to her leg, she spotted a pouch and at once her guard was up, opening it she saw that there was a couple of kunai, a dozen. Closing it again, she shook her head at Ken, and she spoke coldly, “Go on a head and get hurt for all I care, and for your information mister I never signed, they knocked me out before I could!”

Remaining at her spot, she watched the group to see which way they would go; depending than she just might follow one or choose to go her own way.

~- In that tavern thingy -~

Her ebony hair fell in a free style, looking up at the sound of the door opening the “human” girl looked over at the newcomer. A soft whistle coming from her, the young woman stood up and walked past him; before she left she breathed, “So, sir, is the new prey here yet?”

She knew when to leave some place that held people she didn’t get along with. Her sooty lashes half lowered the teen walked outside. Feeling them, she shifted into a beautiful raptor as she took to the sky, gliding through the sky, she felt absolute joy flood only to be quickly replaced with rage. What! I can’t believe that chit made it into Genesis! She screeched silently.

A sadistic smirk coming to her eyes, the creature knew exactly what to do, doubling back she landed in the village again, she wasn’t sure which way Senka was going to go, but which ever way that was she would be ready.

“Look all of you can either trust me or hate me. I really could care less which you all ultimately choose.” Ken said he could feel that he was the source of much tension and his actions so far in Genesis really weren’t helping him make a good impression with anyone.
“So anyway I’m heading northeast since I’m fairly sure something is there. So if anyone wants to accompany me there they can and I will try my best to keep them safe but I can’t really offer the same for anyone who chooses to wander off on their own.” Ken said as he tried his best to try and be more polite while talking.
Ok so at least I’m not completely hated. Date thought as he looked over at Gabriella before nodding slightly to her previous comment about following and wondered if anyone else actually planned on coming with them.

“I think its best we start moving as I don’t think it’s a good idea for all of us to stand out in the open like this.” Ken said as he took a quick look around and then stared back at the group, as he was starting to have the strange feeling they were all being watched by someone or something.
“You are planning to come along with me right Gabriella? As for everyone else, they can choose to come with us if they feel like it.” Ken said as he looked over at Gabriella and waited to see what she had to say if anything before the two of them left in order to see were the red dot on the device lead to.

OOC: Bump! Hello, what about the RP? *sad eyes* Anyone?

IC: Listening to what Ken was saying, her eyes crackling with cold fire, she watched as he seemed to figure out that he was the cause of much tension. Remaining on her side of the clearing, she listened as he said in a kinder tone, “So anyway I’m heading northeast since I’m fairly sure something is there. So if anyone wants to accompany me there they can and I will try my best to keep them safe but I can’t really offer the same for anyone who chooses to wander off on their own.”

Senka’s eyes glitteringly cold, she glanced at the path behind her, turning around she walked down it, thinking about what he said. Shaking her head, she was determined to remain on her own, regardless of what anyone said.

~- Village place! -~

Feeling her "friend" moving away from the group, Raven chuckled softly as she once more shifted to her true form. Taking to the air, the raptor headed in the direction of her master, flapping her wings she allowed the thermals to carry her toward her target. Looking down, she watched the brunette as she walked away from the group. Prey is always easier when it is alone, you’ve made a serious mistake little one. She thought icily.

OOC: Sorry that it’s short, I’ll try to make it longer next time.
