Here's are two poems I wrote in September.
My Angel,My Demon, My Beloved
If you had wings, you'd be perched on my window sill.
Your sweet face, your sweet smile illuminating the dark night.
The pale white of your skin, contrasts against the dark black of your wings.
You are my angel, my demon, my best friend.
My demon you are, for you tempt me.
To steal into the night, you enchant me.
My angel you are, for you love me.
Together we live, we fight, we dream.
Sweet wings, so warm when you hug me.
Feathers so lightly, they caress.
The pale white that is you, the purity.
The tanned one that is me, the impure.
We cling onto each other.
We depend, we cry, we love.
Together we walk on, supporting the other.
My touch holding on, the touch that changed your white wings to black.
Once white wings, once pure and otherworldly.
Tainted by my darkness, my humanity.
Yet you still choose to remain with me.
You are my angel, my demon, my beloved.
Pillow
I hug my pillow tightly as the tears stream down.
I make a silent promise that this will be the last time.
I'll never dream of you, not if I can help it.
I'll stop thinking of you, force myself to stop it.
A friend you were to me, one I trusted.
But you betrayed me, crushed my self confidence
Took away my hope, invaded my dreams.
Caused me to relive a false world of happiness.
A daydream it was, a fairytale.
You decided then that I was not worth it.
You slammed the breaks down and crushed it.
