It certainly is Daaku's job to show up at the scene. So my post will consist of that in some way. I'll include interaction with other characters present as well.

Instead of general bemoanment, let's in this thread put our heads together and address why most of us are hitting a creative or motivational block for this particular roleplay?

I kind of can't post because my character has been rendered unconscious due to the overhaul of being overshadowed by the smiling man's presence. Other than that, i'd say i've never encountered motivational or even writer's block thus far. Everybody else? Beats me, but for whatever trials and tribulations they're going through are no less significant to reflect on their activity.

Business aside, my own inactivity has been partly due to the latest turn of the plot. Frankly, I'm unsure how to proceed with Brandt.

After Chris restarted the day, I was hoping that everybody's characters would take some time to process the events of "yesterday." The pacing lent itself to that direction, which in turn would have helped some half-planned events to unfold smoothly.

Now, we have a cataclysmic event taking place -- complete with the Smiling Man and a rapist janitor.
I was hoping for Brandt to remain in the shadows for a while . . . but he can't exactly ignore this.

To be fair, not everyone died in the events, so the impact wouldn't be as deep for other characters as it was for Crate.

Also, I could use a post by you or Chase.

Again, I wish that I had seized events during a moment of free time -- but I just didn't have any free time, then.

Some good news is that I posted in the thread, so I guess it evens out a bit.

EDIT: I won't be able to post until around the 6th of August, so those who feel up to it can handle my character if absolutely needed. No missing limbs would be preferable, but feel free to induce some trauma.
