I thought brave was okay, didnt care for cars 2. Lets see how monster university does. Given the recent announcement of finding nemo 2, i really hope pixar has not run out of ideas, and is just doing sequels
I don't think three not-as-emotional films would really say they are falling. Cars has never been their best, but it sells merchandise and young boys love it. Brave's appeal was in its mother-daughter audience, which it also did well with and I hear that merchandise line is doing fantastic too.
MU's target audience is obviously children, but the fact it is about university life will give it a core audience of college students who can relate a lot better to this life.
Of course the film will be scrutinized, but I don't see it failing and I think it will deliver on an emotional level as well.
Who can hate a film that has an ACTUAL university website?
