I kinda get why they wanted to include a evil Riku though.

The Real Organisation featured all the big bads of the previous titles and Repliku was kind of a major boss in Riku's story line, before he faced off Ansem. So the evil repliku kinda represents Riku's side of Chain Of Memories.

I just hope this saga is the end of so many clone characters, but Yozora is already pretty close to being an alt Riku.

Why was David Tennant not the voice of KH3 Scrooge? Why did we have to settle for some tryhard Alan Young double?
Most voices in KH3 didn't sit well with me. I get that they couldn't pay for such big actors like Depp or Goodman or Buscemi...but still most voices didn't sit well with me.

Stupid nitpick but nitpick nonetheless: I get why, as a kind of dark energy creatures, hearthless drop magic or health orbes. But why on earth do they drop money? Is not like they could have it for going shopping.

Another thing that kill me in the final scene of KHIII. Why is Isa wearing long sleeves while playing with a fresbee in a hot sandy beach in which every single person has summer clothes? I know they can't make a model just for one shot... But I suffer every time I see it, really.

I always thought it was a gameplay thing but as Isa that is troublesome, Destiny Islands is a tropical island and I can imagine it must hot there.

Well not money, but "munny". For all we know it could just be a substance of defeated enemies that moogles are willing to trade for.

This irks me because of how inconsistent that continuity is. Donald and Goofy acts as if they've never been to Yen Sid's tower, yet they have. And this is the same game that was consistent with Pete's banishment.Df84skuUcAABwpm.jpg

That is weird especially since in BBS they clearly knew about Yen Sid yet they didn't KH2.

Terranort should have been the final boss of kh3. MX admit that his body was already old so I imagine he was not in prime shape. Not to mention Sora/MX have had about 2 minutes of conversation before they fought.

Terranort actually kicked everyone's ass at the KG in the game and I feel he was the strongest darkness in the group given Aqua/Ven/Sora together had trouble defeating him.

I mean.. not really. Aqua (who already fought this guy and had him on the ropes) actively did nothing but gasp, stare, and promptly disappear. Riku and Mickey didn't even bother to move, or do... anything but scream. Lea and Kairi were pretty useless in general during that section of the game. Lingering Will (who's only about as strong as Terra himself) always manages to give him a beat down. Sora's just inconsistent, and also barely did anything. I mean, he in the cutscenes got knocked down hard by Siax, and kicked to ground by Xemnas (two people he's beaten before), just as easily as Terranort knocked him away. All things considered, I just don't see him being that much of a threat. That whole scene just felt like a textbook case of Cutscene Incompetence, and a very stiff one at that. I said this a couple of pages back, but Ventus litterally ran up to Terra as if he wasn't just told by Riku that Terra was with Organization. Nothing in that scene really makes sense tbh.

I'm also not sure we can say how much trouble he himself gave them in his tag team fight with Vanitas since it's a different dynamic, and story and gameplay don't always translate in this series it seems.

That said, I do agree it would've been more interesting to see Xehanort using Terra's body instead of his own for the finale (though maybe that would've complicated things too much?).

Ah you are probably right I have not played that section of the game in 7 months so I don't remember all the details. What I did recall was Terranort taking care of business by himself until the demon wave came into. I even forgot that it was vani+terranort in the tag fight and that is why I was so impressed that 2 non-Kairi keyblade wielders could not defeat Terranort. At the very least Terranort should have the sub-boss before MX because at least I have not seen him look like a loser as much as Ansem SOD or Xemnas have in the previous games.

I understand Nomura's thinking about how cool will it be if before fighting MX you fight the 3 Xehanort but it's hard for me to believe SOD after losing like a billion times is this time going to win a fight. Or even Xemnas. Terranort felt more like a final boss but that is probably just my opinion shining through.

I do agree with your point about cutscene incompetence and how it sometimes does not make sense with how the fights in the game are shown. My favorite (or least favorite) example is Sora in KH2 when he went through TWTNW and all the supposed tough boss fights and did not show an ounce of exhaustion until maybe he got to the dark depth. Sora killed off Xigbar/Luxord/Saix and Xemnas first form without breaking a sweat it seems.

It baffles me on what grounds can Sora so sudden strength to slice down BUILDINGS? Skyscrapers at most. A feat that seems impossible for someone was asleep for a year. It like...makes no sense. Just how dense even IS the Keyblade to cut down skyscrapers? And where was that strength in said cutscene incompetence?

This game has the tendency to forget something so completely obvious but plot and gameplay forbids them to remember. Like something as obvious and simple as a door being locked when you have a goddamn KEY that OPENS. ANY. LOCK. for a weapon.

Aqua escorting Jaq when he's carrying a key bigger than him.

I FORGOT ABOUT THAT. Aqua could've just stuck with Jaq and unlock Cinderella's door with the Keyblade. Like...I get it, world board, you can't fight light with darkness yadayada but....BRUH.

You are right. That doesn't make any sense.

The Japanese version of this line was better suited for the situation:

Chirithy: "What's that thing you're holding, again?"

*Player then goes to unlock the door with the Keyblade*

It was intended to be a gag as Chirithy often has to be the voice of reason. No idea why localization decided to make it sound "nicer".

I agree that locked doors in this series is real dumb.
