I don't think anyone that has been a fan of KH would be surprised that original worlds were the highest honestly. I also recommend you look at point 5 where he mentions guest characters...or lack thereof. The top voted hopeful guest characters were Noctis and Lightning at 1 and 2 respectively.

400 votes in a poll don’t exactly override the millions of views and praise the Toy Story world garnered or the millions of other ‘Best KH World’ lists that unanimously put the Disney Worlds on top of their lists.

Nomura even said that famitsu poll was most likely carried out on the hardcore minority of the KH fanbase. He would know that because they are the ones that actually have the reaction numbers and player statistics.

Honestly him being a "fan" shouldn't be used as a point when discussing if the game is good or not. I loved Ninja Gaiden 3 and that game got a 3/10 some places. Him being a fan is irrelevant. It's like saying you're "supposed" to liiiike the game because you're a fan.

Based on his personality he's been showing us, I think he's just bad at reviewing games. Based on what i've seen the game looks to be a 7/10, but I haven't experienced the story yet.

7.3/10 is not a shameful or bad score, it just means that he felt like it was okay/average/ alright/ meh, there's nothing really wrong with that score, just that maybe he felt like it was overhyped and maybe wanted more. Also, he's skipped a lot of events, so I wouldn't trust him on that score.

IIRC his main issue (might have been his brother's) was actually the lack of post-game and content in general, but that was clearly before either of them took a hard look at what was available so who knows if his impression will change once/if he gets 100%. They did both have an issue with some story thing that happened in the lead-up to the ending but it's not really clear what that was beyond rumor and hearsay. On the whole though, he seems to think the story "redeemed" itself and wrapped up in a fairly definitive way.

Sometimes watching these videos, I get the sense this leaker could really use a pair of Philoctetes training wheels. That whole Giga Battle Portal fight I was like [I]take out the long-range canon robots first arggghhh[/I]. And what do you know it was over in like two seconds once he did that.

Also RIP Twilight Town, officially. Hardly even what one could call a hub world, but it's OK. Maybe KH4 will fix that in its Day One patch.

Liking something is not the same as thinking it's great. Like I like The Room but I don't think it is a good movie.

Another thing consider is that the leaker just might not like the quality of extra content.

He also said he had big issues with the middle part of the story.

Aren't both of those set in Tram Common? If so, no, there's nothing to indicate it was bigger in these trailers that I can see.

Extra sad now though because that wall and the lab are the only two pieces of Radiant Garden we'll see in this game. :'(

Not gonna lie... KH3 is starting to annoy me a lot. This must be how FF fans felt with Final Fantasy XV (but different since that game had a whole host of others issues) But it seems like almost 40% of the things we like about the main games is getting shafted for whatever reason.

1. Twilight Town is reduced and sections that are easily playable in other games are just not here. You can't even go into the mansion or the lab?

2. Radiant Garden, a story important world since the first KH game, is gone and the FF crew is gone it seems and the cameos seem to be completely reduced, although I guess that yet it be seen but it seems like we aren't getting as much cameos as before. But going by BBS, I guess that makes sense but still, not even the Restoration Committee?

3. Apparently no secret bosses based on the trophy list. Not even a Sephiroth battle? Seriously?! Just a bunch of copy paste battles from DDD with extra health heartless and nobodies? Dude...

4. Less Disney worlds then pretty much all the previous games and the worlds themselves seem very uninspired besides maybe the Pixar (And by that, I mean by choice, not scope). The rest just feel like promotion for the latest Disney films.

But still... everything else looks great and the story seems like it'll get me what I want out of it. So I guess I can't be too annoyed and I'll still like the game but... damn dude. WTF happened? Are they saving it all for DLC? But Noruma said he doesnt like DLC. I don't understand why a lot of the things fans like about the series are just gone now. Did they just not care? Is it Disney's doing? So much is just... gone. So much so that I'm sure even casual fans are gonna be disappointed.

Maybe the Day 1 patch will fix things but I severely doubt that. Do Day 1 patches add THAT much missing into the game?

I find it weird that they give you a trophy for BEGINNING the final battle, instead of ending it. Never seen that before.

I guess thats true. Maybe it's less bias and more nostalgic disconnect. Not that I don't love Tangled or Monsters Inc or Toy Story or even Frozen (as overrated as it is) and it's not that I don't like/love those choices but I would've much rather had Princess and the Frog, a Lilo and Stitch world, Treasure Planet, Atlantis, or Jungle book. Heck even Robin Hood or Great Mouse Detective because those choices feel somewhat more unique and a breathe of fresh air the game could've used.

That's just me though. I know almost half of those wouldn't be in this game but this could've been a chance to... ya know, take some chances. I know we talk about unrealistic expectations and all that stuff but still... this is KH3. A game everyone has been waiting for. I kind of expected... well, everything. More worlds and a good mix of inspired worlds and promotional worlds, some decent FF cameos, a Sephiroth boss, playable characters then just Riku... again... for the billionth time, Olympus Coliseum tournaments. This is suppose to be the ending of a saga. I get it, keep your expectations in checks and what I wanted was a basic mainline KH game that does just a little bit more with content besides mini-games and some heartless/nobody battles scattered randomly. I'm not asking for final mix stuff because base KH1 and KH2 had all of this. I understand those games were a decade ago but you know what also came out a decade ago... God of War. And the latest game pretty much had everything I expected out of a God of War game. And despite only having two weapon selection and a change of gameplay style, the game didnt skip a beat and was awesome.

And I'm not knocking what the developers have done. The scope of the game is great, gummi ship battles look fun, the graphics look stellar, and the gameplay seems good so far but why Kingdom Hearts 3 couldn't do in its 5-6 years of development that the other two mainline did as far as content besides some mini-games and a camera kind of blows my mind a little and it makes me feel like they either didnt care or Disney dipped their toes too much. Again, I know games take longer to make these days and KH3 suffered a development halt with the changing engines but... something just rubs me the wrong that a lot of stuff is just missing from this game that I'm pretty sure even casuals are going to be at least a little niff about. I'm not saying it's going to kill the game but I'm just kind of confused honestly and I can only speculate at this point.

I feel like Disney had a different agenda with this game and toke some creative liberties. I don't know. I just get a weird feeling that Disney being more involved hurt this game more then I thought it would. But that's speculation I guess but still. Something feels off about the game. Maybe its the spoilers. Maybe its the lack of a real push for this game marketing wise besides a trailer or two. I honestly don't know. I guess I won't until I actually play the game. And again, I'm not calling it bad or that I wont enjoy it just because these things aren't there but this hurts my experience nonetheless and I can't help that.

Whatever. KH4 ...I guess? Or whatever the next game will be called.

I can only go off what's given and I'm not saying complaints are completely definitive since I still need to play the game and the leaker has been pretty annoying at this point with info. And my complaints have less to do with Disney worlds and more about the others stuff that's missing. I'm fine with the worlds we have. It's the other stuff that's missing that scratches my head because there's no evidence to the contray yet until I play the game myself and find out, which I'm still looking forward too. Until then, I'll criticize what info has been given to me until the release of the game says otherwise or confirms it. But until that happens, these are my feelings right now and I'm kind of bummed out.

Again, it's not gonna kill the game for me or probably anyone else but I still can't help but be disappointed. Barely any FF characters, No other playable characters, a reduced Twilight Town (can't even visit the subway, the tower, the other part of town, the sandlot, or inside the mansion?), no Radiant Garden, which I know that's not a big deal for some people but it's a very important world for half the characters and it's only in cutscene form in the final game of a saga and thats... really, really weird; and no Coliseum at all it seems. That's EXTREMELY disappointing no matter what way I try to spin it as a fan. That's just how I feel. Maybe that's not justified, maybe I'm being a little spoiled. Maybe. I don't really feel like I am because it's not like I'm already giving this game 4/10 worst game of the year award already. I'm sure the game will be fine but I can still be disappointed about the stuff that missing that other mainline games didn't seem to having a problem having.

And again, I don't want to sit here and act like I know how game development shakes out and why certain things get cut but why those things get cut when they are staples of the series especially when one of the worlds is where half the characters come from seems to be just scraped visiting wise, rubs me the wrong way for a game that suppose to be the end of a saga.

If nothing else, I guess finding all this out now instead of later is a good thing. It helps keep my expectations in better check. And since nothing story wise has been spoiled, I guess this is somewhat a blessing in disguise.

But do we know that for sure? I don't read his tweets, Reddit or whatever. We already know Sora is going to visit the mansion, so I don't see why it wouldn't be playable.

I wonder how many people will sing the same tune when they realize that the world has more do and is lot more lively than it was in KH2. Also I do not get the anger at the mansion...we saw basically the whole mansion in KH2 there is nothing in there it's just a bunch of empty broken rooms. What exactly are people wanting from the mansion cause to me it kinda just sounds like a nostalgia driven bias. Like I'd sooner be upset at the lack of sunset terrace (even though we saw basically that whole place to) than I would at the mansion. Because at least with Sunset Terrace they could feasibly add new/interesting stuff.....the mansion not so much.
