The Orb before him flickered for a moment... then dissappeared. Gone. Marik swore and punched the ground with his human hand. A bubble of Darkness burst outwards, enveloping a few Heartless and then receeded. The Heartless that remained stopped swaying for a moment. They were stupid, but they knew that their prey had appeared somewhere else. The Realm of Light must've put the last warriors of course sending them into the forever lasting Realm of Darkness. Marik knew that even with his knowledge of this strange place that he'd never find them, not for a long time. Unless they began to interrupt the order of things. The Heartless would whisper things.
All he had to do was wait. A few hours and they were sure to turn up. Then he'd be there, to give them a taste of true Dark Keyblader!

He fell back into the shadows wrapping them around him and began to fade into the void. He waited in his castle. In a World he had created with Kingdom Hearts. The Heartless would speak soon. Anytime soon...

Zero put his hand on the Orb and was sucked into the RoD. The few moments in transport seemed to take forever. Zero was ready to pop out and fight right away, if need be. Instead, Zero landed on one knee in a crouched position. He looked cool just now, he knew it too. Fletcher had landed on his face, Zero saw as he entered the RoD above Fletcher. Standing Zero walked over to Fletcher and asked, " So, Should we go? I dont want to sit here too long. This is a drop off point into the RoD. I am sure this place is patrolled from time to time... What do you think??"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tomo placed her hand on the Orb and was plummeted into the RoD. She had a calmed feeling as she sank into he new home for who knew how long. As she entered the RoD she landed on her back skirt wide open.. She was just barely able to fix it as kenneth looked her way. She stood looking around before asking.. " Hey Kenneth.. do you think we will be ok?
"We're not going anywhere until everyone is here and ready to move." Fletcher replied. "Even if Heartless come, Cass, Zil, Kenneth and that girl Tomo are here, as well as us. We could take them."
Fletcher was confident in the groups power, and it would only grow from now on.
"Speaking of the others, how long do they want to take? It takes a few moments t get here using the Orb, I wonder what's taking them so long."
Fletcher pushed the thought away and twirled his Keyblade.
He was looking forward to the journey that was ahead of him and he wanted to start moving soon.
"Lovely weather down here." He suddenly started to say. "Nice and cool, just the way I like it."
His ears twitched. Finally dry, the wind carried the breeze on its reliable waves of air. The obsidian haired male took a quite slow descent midst the stead of this new world. Upon his tour he found to his liking a sense of serenity the thought only on the cul-de-sac of all worlds, his home. Yet fixed on that one tree that virtually consumed the island in tree houses, paved walking paths, and sand. There were no houses here.
"Hmmm?"
He stared over at the dock, spotting several boats. Kids probably came here, as an escape from their school days. The boy's senses were sharp from his sensei's teachings as well as Reforge's wisdom. Drawn in like a possessed soul, he could smell a strong sentiment of darkness. A sense of smell he seemed to quickly learn of after his world was devoured by the three hooded men. Hopping up onto the walk path, he versed through the branches and leaves.
Youthful keyblades were preparing to traverse into the unknown. As he remained behind the scenes, he peered around the rock. Others placing their hands upon this floating orb of perpetual darkness, as if it were a portal unto the very same fate. His brow twitched, and he seemed to stare upon this fondly. Squinting he peered into it, he couldn't seem to find an end to it, nor determine where it would lead. 'when your oblivious, your not afraid to make an assumption and just dive right in right?' he thought to himself.
One by one they all phased in. When the last had left, he waited a series of minutes so he could lurk behind as something of a guardian. As he approached it, he stared at this orb for a moment. While nothing came out of it, it just seemed to be an entry point where they'd all carefully taken the time to tread unto. Staring wouldn't do him any good, in mimicry, he'd done as they'd done before him. Upon placing his hand on the orb, he'd thus accepted the terms of this new world he'd stumbled upon and he'd soon be on another. "Here is step one, to returning home..."
The sensation isn't one that could easily be described. Being sucked in? He felt this, familiarity with it having flown beyond the parameters of his own world. This oblique and clearly noticeable scene, entranced as he was on the pale surface for a few moments. Steadfast, he posted himself next to a rock as he regained consciousness and memory of being sucked in. The drop off from a portal not far from him, he'd move out of sight as there were others that had gone through it and he landed behind them due to his timed entry.
"This all seems so familiar...no time to worry about that, I need to pay attention to these other kids."
"Very well, let's get on the bloody road." His partner said placing his hand on the orb. Directly to the point, might not be bad paired up with this guy, he thought to himself. O followed suit and soon felt a strong chill rush across his body. All of his mechanics got cold, and his "pulse" started to slow. Then he was enveloped by darkness. For a moment he was afraid that he had shut down, but then realized he wouldn't know if he had done it anyway. Then he saw a gray surface come into perspective under his feet as he landed with a loud thud. He looked around a bit at the area, deserted besides the wielders. The floor seemed to give off a bit of a glow, but it might have just been because of how light it was compared to the darkness above it. "Interesting...." He said to no one in particular.
He emerged in the darkness alongside his partner, the boy looking around a bit - Marquis cursed underneath his breath. This isn't some bloody marketplace to gawk at! Phaw!
Folding his left arm behind his back, right arm still longing for the grasp of Clicker - his only and favorite walking cane. de Requesciat could sense other minds other than the children, the outsiders' thoughts brief and fleeting, though the same murmuring still rose to the Conductor's attention, as those little miscreants he was forced with flashed around their Light-given weapons.
Keyblade.
Marquis reached out into the darkness, mentally searching for those denizens of darkness. Heartless - you will do well with my plans, no? No response came, though he could still feel their presence, like a horde of gnats buzzing at the edges of a fresh corpse. Like in the Vai'tien Swamps. Bloody things were everywhere.
Then, there was pure silence, as the beings beyond his sight vanished. These will be hard natives to turn, but they will serve me nonetheless. de Requesciat stepped calmly, never losing his composure, ignoring the desire to summon that minuscule weapon that had replaced Clicker. It would only draw them to him.
Marik was approached quickly. Apparently there had been contact. A voice speaking outwards to some of the Heartless. He rose from his throne, and opened up a small portal, appearing in an area near were his tools had heard the voice.
They were gathered in a small group. They all had the feel of Keybladers. This pleased him, and he thought of a way to first enter...
Perhaps a full on charge of of Large Bodies? Nah. They were actually quite vulnerable. He figured what he would do. First he'd send in a dozen Shadows... then send a few Invisibles upon them. As a few of them fell he'd show off a small amount of power... and so it began.
He swept his hand across the area before him. In the empty space between the Wielders the Shadows popped up. A small wall rose around him concealing him from view. He would feel the Shadows fall. When he did the Invisibles would be summoned. He waited patiently for the reaction of the group. This was all the part of the start.
To install fear in the Heart, to make it need to grow larger, and when it reaches its maximum size... pop!
Great, Heartless. Fletcher thought. Just as we were about to leave, too.
Immediately Fletcher slipped into his battle stance, both hands on his weapon and hold it so the blade points up.
"I suggest that we run if it get's too out of hand." Said Fletcher as he watched the Shadow infront of him.
It flung itself at him and he slashed downward, forcing the Shadow into the ground. He then proceeded by flinging it back up and jumping up into the air after it, reverting to holding his Keyblade single-handedly.
He wasn't that used to being able to chain many attacks in the air, so he only got to cut the Shadow once before he and the Heartles started falling again.
He landed faster and took the opportunity to get in a ranged hit by throwing his Keyblade up and stabbing into the Shadow. The lightening crackled around his Keyblade after the Heartless was defeated and then materialized in his hand, saving the time of it having to fall.
No sooner had Zilander started walking that Shadows began to sprout from the gray surface. He summoned his Keyeblade just as one pounced towards him, impaling itself on the blade instead. Zil looks towards Cass, who also had his blade at the ready. Zil jumpeed back, shooting a fireball from his palm, which immediately followed a Shadow until it incinerated the poor creature.
"Too many for a magical assault...." Zil thought to himself. "Time to get down and dirty...."
And with that, Zil rushed towards the Shadows, Key in hand.
"Do you think we'll be okay?"
Kenneth shrugged "We should be. I can take care of myself and i'm not going to just let you die"
They started to walk but after a few paces shadow heartless rose up out of the ground and swarmed them. Kenneth wasn't particularly worried, his keyblade appeared in a flash of light and he swiped at one, knocking it onto the ground. With a solid kick he sent it flying away from him, where the other keybladers were fighting. He probably hit one too. Rolling his eyes at the thought Kenneth looked around at the heartless that were quickly surrounded him and Tomo.
"Do what you can" he informed her walking up and turning around to bash a few heartless that tried to jump him "I'll handle these small fry"
He lifted his weapon as the shadows lunged at him
"Awesome..." O said sarcastically as shadows appeared around them. His partner had just appeared beside him. Reminder: Find out his name. It was installed on his hard drive, cause now was clearly not the time. Quite the time for an ambush, he thought. His battle program initiated and he slowly began spinning his keyblade. Then one jumped at him and he spun it faster, so it was like it trying to jump through a fan. He sighed as the shadow fell and disappeared. Another lunged and had the same results. "Quite repetitive...." He said to his partner. He looked up just in time to spin his keyblade to stop an incoming heartless that was kicked over by another fighter. "Careless..." O said as he turned the keyblade striking the shadow vertically through it's middle.
Zero knew this would happen. He had warned Fletcher and advised to move on. It didnt matter now. He needed to get to work. These Heartless wouldnt kill themselves. As Zero looked he could see that there were a decent amount of these Shadow Heartless. He glanced towards Tomo and Kenneth, Tomo was casting some spell, and Kenneth was making a bee line for more Heartless. Zero decided to do the same.
"Hey Fletcher, try this out." said Zero as he raised his Keyblade Tenebrex into the air casting Quick on him. This would allow Fletcher to make multiple fast movements for the next ten minutes. "that should allow you to get more out of each movement" Nodding at Fletcher, Zero shot towards the hoard wielding both Tenebrex and Ancient Zero made his way into the group. Zero reached the front of the group and jumped into the air and brought both Keyblades down striking the ground sending about seven Shadows into the air. Zero used this opportunity to take out a couple of them as they fell to the ground before leaping back to avoid the others ganging up on him all at once. He briefly looked back at Fletcher to see if the spell had been of any use to their new leader, before smashing Ancient into a Shadows skull and back-slashing it back into the hoard.
"Do what you can, I'll handle these small fry"
Tomo need hear no more, she began what she knew best. Summoning her Keyblade Healing Light, Tomo cast Bravery
"Kenneth, I'm gonna raise your Attack by 30%, do your best!!" said Tomo as she cast Protectga on herself. She had never been in serious combat like this. 'I will be fine though' thought Tomo, 'Kenneth has my back'.
Marik immediatly saw someone who looked formidable. All of a sudden he was wielding two Keyblades.
"Unusual one, eh? No matter. I can handle these guys. That one on the other hand..." Marik murmered as his eyes glanced over towards a glowing woman. "So she can't fight for Hearts... but she can help strengthen. A possible pick-up."
The problem was that they weren't ever getting singled out. They were always with a partner. He'd have to fight two at a time. Marik was cool with that. It would involve their Hearts growing from bonding. Then when one was gone, the other's Heart would grow so much larger.
Boom! Seven Heartless were sent flying. More were sent spinning.
Tick Tock. Tick Tock. Time!
He created a square-shaped box in the air, around the fray before him, and Invisibles appeared. He counted down from three on his hand.
"Three. Two. One."
As he reached one all of the Invisibles charged inwards, closing the box in, tightening the threshholds of the battle. Sure on short notice they wouldn't be the strongest Heartless he'd ever used. They would be weak, very weak, but still sufficent.
He examined the scene now and smiled. If they survived this... he'd great them personally.
FLLFFL stood steadfast behind the rock. This was rather peculiar, the groups were coming under siege, as he could see a detestable figure that lurked. He actually wanted to see some more, often such a calm boy he felt like entering this was something of a death trap. Survive at all cost, it made him somewhat deviate out of his calm and neutral zone just a bit.
He jumped over the rock, and broke into a quick dash. Summoning his FL to his hand, he gripped it with both hands, dragging it across the ground, he'd activated his bide ability. The friction being absorbed into his keyblade was enormous as he twisted the inside of the grip, the bluish flame expedited from the back and he zipped in like a jet! He tucked in, flinging himself inside the box before it closed out.
He jumped over, propelling himself with the flames and came down releasing bide's storage into the closest heartless. A tap, it incinerated, a pure blood heartless by definition that didn't release a captive heart. Flipping over he tapped another one, meeting with is hard steel, yet bide's transfer snapped its blade and cut it in half. As it dispersed, his foot stomped the ground and he slung his lightweight keyblade over his shoulder.
"what up."
Power boost huh? Okay.
Kenneth allowed a smirk to flicker across his features as he battled the shadow creatures. He loved this power, it was a rush, he felt like he could do anything he set his mind to. The heartless? Before they would be an easy victory. Now this wasn't even a battle.
Calling it a battle made it seem like his opponents stood a chance.
Kenneth cleared out the heartless around them quickly, finishing things with one final broad swing of his keyblade and slicing the little bug like monster in half. Victory assured Kenneth looked over at Tomo and his eyes widened.
Invisibles had joined the fray. Stronger, far far stronger than shadows. He swore, and took a step just as something swung at him from behind. He stopped and brought up his key, blocking a sword strike. He grit his teeth and lashed out, sending it back. He looked over at Tomo and called on his magic. He would never make it in time. But a spell would.
His magic wasn't boosted like his strength so he would have to pour in a lot more power if he wanted a one hit KO. Which is what he needed to save Tomo. and he WOULD because he promised he would and damn it all he kept his promises!
"EARTH!"
He slammed his hand onto the ground and yellow static shot out of the ground and around his palm. A spike of earth rose up from the ground and floated in front of him. It was about half Kenneth's size. He thrust his arm forward and the spike shot through the air at a great speed, hitting his target dead center in the chest. His smirk widened as the creature died, fading into darkness. Sure that Tomo was safe for the moment he jumped at the foe behind him, hitting it with a barrage of keyblade strikes.
He'd end this quickly.
The Heartless sprang forth from their abyssal seclusion at the grand gaggle of children, most of whom summoned their Keyblades to deal with the various foes, slicing, dicing, and outright abusing any sort of surprise they could reveal later on to Marquis de Requesciat. He made no real attempt to bother with these Heart-lacking, meddlesome miscreants.
They enjoy putting on a show for themselves, don't they? Pilfering peasants, always wanting to aspire for greatness in their lumbering stupidity. If only Clicker was in my grasp, I'd wipe out half of them, all one by one, and leave the others to be swallowed by this Realm of the Void.
He fingered one the medals on his coat as the childish carnage continued, much to his displeasure. They merely squash ants with their big fingers, and nothing else. Marquis saw little reason to partake in any of this. All of these 'Wielders of the Keyblade' are foolish enough to think there is nothing that can defeat their power. And so, what will they do should their minds be open to intrusion? All that simple, pathetic, brute force, gone in a single instant.
Cass gracefully walked forward toward the darkness and they started following him before they began to jump at the body. Cass cut the evil little black pits of darkness in half leaving a small heart to float towards the blood red sky each time he destroyed them wonder where they go Cass pondered as he continued to slash and dodge the attacks of the heartless.
As Cass continued to evade and strike he noticed at the edge a single white humanoid looking being Also Attacking the heartless “hey Zil what the hell is that” shouted Cass as he threw his keyblade at a larger heartless as a Shadow heartless jumped from behind its claws out ready to strike. Just as the heartless claws was about to Rip though his back he quickly elbowed it in the face falling to the ground and dyeing releasing its captive heart “idiot”
An Invisible rushed at Fletcher and then brang it's blade down. Fletcher held up his Keyblade with both hands and blocked the possibly fatal attack, now it was his turn. With the spell Zero had cast on him he was now much more faster, giving him the ability to land many deadly blows in one combo.
"Let's see what I can do." Fletcher told himself. The Invisible swung again and Fletcher side-stepped, then swung his Keyblade and batted the Heartless's blade to the side and went in for a combo.
He slashed at the amr of the Invinsible and then continued circling it and cutting it.
Eventually the Invisible swung it's blade and had to be evaded by a dodge-roll, now Fletcher had to end this battle.
He rose and zipped behind the Heartless, then he ended the battle by driving his Keyblade through the creatures back and out of it's chest.
The Heartless slumped then hit thr ground, disappearing into the eternal abyss of Darkness.
"Guys," Fletcher shouted. "We need to get out of here!"
He felt the effects of Zero's spell weaken on him, that was nothing to worry about though.
He gripped his Keyblade tightly and dashed forward, hoping that the other Keybladers had heard him
Moments after finishing his assault Zero was face to face with an Invisible. He hated these instantly when he read about them. Looking into the dark abyss that was the pure blood Heartless' eyes, Zero momentarily froze. The confident power that this Heartless bore was incredible. Zero was entranced and vulnerable. The Heartless saw its opportunity and swung. Zero, realizing he was about to take a severe blow milliseconds before impact crossed his Keyblade's into an X just as the blade struck. He was now on the losing side of a power struggle. He had a few tricks up his sleeve, yea.. but to use them now. NEVER. Zero pushed back against the sword, at the same time he quickly looked over the Invisible. Hoping and praying for a weak spot. Zero swore, there was none. This creature was in mint condition. Zero had one choice, he had to manage to maneuver out of this. Thinking quickly he had an idea. 'This had better work, I am losing this struggle' thought Zero gritting his teeth. Zero with all his might pushed the blade up just high enough to get his bod under it completely. He then jumped up barely getting his feet off the ground while simultaneously hooking the curved ends at the end of his Keyblades onto the sword of the Invisible. Once that was completed he tucked his legs in and the full force of the swing was diverted from his body to the ground. Zero had been swung under the Invisible instead of taking the hit. The idea had come from the children he had seen swinging in the park. They would swing and another child would run underneath themand try not to get hit. As Zero rolled and struggled quickly to his feet before the Invisible was able to get its bearings Zero went in for the kill. The Invisibles back was to him giving him an opening to attack. Zero charged in Keyblades in hand. As the Invisible stood Zero jumped and placed his right foot on the square of its back, crouching inwards as his weight met up with him Zero was inches from the Invisibles head. This was it, Zero hooked both ends of his Keyblades around the Invisibles neck and kicked off the Heartless's back. Doing this severed the head of the creature, killing it. In the distance Zero could hear Fletcher say " Guys, we need to get out of here!" Zero needed to hear nothing more. He was back up and running Fletchers way. 'This is crazy, how did they know we were here that fast. I had only been here for possibly a minute or two and boom here they are.' wondered Zero 'did they recognize us or... no that is impossible' Zero was nearly next to Fletcher now and slowing a bit to match his stride.
Tomo had been watching herself, making sure to keep an eye out for any Heartless growing close. She had been doing a good job, she had even killed a Shadow Heartless.. well she didnt exactly kill it. It had been struck by the Maniac Keyblader in a ground thumping pile drive. It had wobbled her way and terrified she had swung at it and finished it off. It was at that point she was ambushed by an Invisible. She hadnt seen it, but it had seen her. creeping up quietly as Tomo freaked out over the Shadow it was in position. Blade raised the Invisible was ready to strike. It was then Kenneth shot a Earth attack at the Invisible piercing its chest and killing it instantly. 'I am lucky to be alive' thought Tomo looking the battle field over. Kenneth was ok. For some reason though Fletcher and Zero were running away. Tomo needed to show Kenneth that they were retreating. She yelled over to Kenneth,
"we are retreating, look. Fletcher has a plan, lets go." With that Tomo cautiously made her way towards Kenneth they would need to move fast or they might be left in the dust...
