Give me a Kingdom Hearts 3 world based on Gravity Falls. idk if I'd want to see an original story with base story by Alex or an alternate take on Weirdmageddon or some other point of the series pre or post-Ford with Gideon or Bill in the Mindscape or time travel hijinks, but it would fit. Sora, Donald, and Goofy are one big mystery of their own and would slide right into the insanity of Gravity Falls with crazy ease. They could easily "Gravity Falls" SDG up to match the art style of the show.

Pre-Ford, I could see there being a page in the Journal about the Heartless or a mysterious keyhole or something. Post-Ford, I could see Ford knowing about the Keyblade from his interdimentional adventures. SO MUCH POTENTIAL.

I swear, Nomura watches TV more than most kids these days so he must know how good Gravity Falls is.

(I mean there was even a gunblade reference! Nomura made that popular in the 90s!)

As for Stan's memories, I was a bit upset that he recovered them as fast as he did but I still teared up. I think what bothers me the most is that I just wanted to see more of these characters and see them grow. To see Ford progressively see how wrong he's been all of this time in holding a grudge against Stan. For Stan and Ford to have moments where they had to work together and an echo of them in the past shone through. To see more of Soos and Wendy and Pacifica and the whole town.

I definitely don't think this is the end for Gravity Falls. I want to see a game or some novels or comics. Not too much stuff, but enough to scratch the lingering itch.

Also, on the animation was it just me or after everything with Bill start looking weird? The animation quality dropped like crazy with proportions being really off, colors being really weird, and movements being really limited. I wouldn't be surprised if they burned most of their budget on everything before the last 10 minutes, but I just wanted to know if I wasn't going crazy.

sora flies his gummy ship into a wormhole, triggering an "anomaly" in the ocean, opening a new can of worms. plot device is this creates another weirdness bubble where, like bill, SDG cannot leave. another time travel cornerstone that warps them to gravity falls. ford grabs sora's keyblade like "aha!", only for it to transform into a blade suited to him while he says "fascinating."

another ten minutes and this episode would have been flawless.

honestly i didn't pay much attention. wouldn't be surprised if they blew their load early but my GOD that image of stan in the woods was an absolute piece of art.

I was definitely glad the end result was the older Pines twins making up, and getting to go on their adventure together. And also yeah, I do realize Gravity Falls love to have its twists, so I suppose the prophecy really coming true and just working and they all beat Bill the end was too easy. I suppose, yeah, I think I just wanted some secondary character love. I have always felt Wendy was underutilized in the show as a whole for instance. She should have been important in like every episode lol. But yeah.

I'm not sure if I noticed the drop in quality either? I was probably too enamored haha.

I would love a Gravity Falls world or something like that in KHIII. As chuman mentioned the Gummi ship landing there, could they use some sort of alien theme? Like when SDG somehow end up crash landing to Gravity Falls, Dipper, Mabel and co. go to investigate the incident. A talking dog and duck in FF styled clothes with zippers, and spiky haired kid with a weird sword emerge from the weird ship, SDG might be the weirdest aliens they have ever seen.

Since the Keyblades are old, I also like the idea of Ford having encountered them in the past, and them having a page in the Journal.

Also, could they use some sort of weird video game meta reference theme there as well? Like they had the Street Fighter like game and a visual novel. And since Soos mentioned the gunbalde, Sora could be like: "Oh, do you mean Leon? He is a friend of mine, so is Cloud.." and etc... And the GF cast is like:

I did not notice any animation drops in the episode. Maybe because I was so focused on the thing. I also agree about the scene with Stan in the woods. That was magical.

I've been begging and pleading for a Gravity Falls world since I got into the show (well, more like screaming into the void about it, but still, I really want one! Lol), but after seeing this episode, yes, it would 100% be perfect for Kingdom Hearts. It fits so well! There's everything with Weirdmageddon, plus the fact that SDG could be seen as aliens (and Dipper would be freaking out about that for sure; if Ford's there, he would probably be investigating that ASAP too lol). Seriously, it's perfect. Also, Bill boss fight. IMAGINE IT. IMAGINE HOW AMAZING IT WOULD BE, ESPECIALLY IF HE WENT INTO THAT TERRIFYING SPIDER FORM. THIS NEEDS TO HAPPEN. I can see them doing something original, or maybe something based on Weirdmageddon? Maybe SDG appear in something around the time of the Last Mabelcorn, so they can all get introduced to Dipper, Mabel, Stan and everyone, then everything from Dipper and Mabel VS the Future happens and then BOOM! APOCALYPSE

Also SkywardWing did a video about how Gravity Falls could appear in Kingdom Hearts. There's some interesting ideas in it, especially Dipper and Mabel becoming party members and being like the Ice Climbers in Super Smash Bros.

This is super wishful thinking, but Alex went to Japan recently, too, and, although it was probably mainly for visiting Disney Channel Japan (he did some videos and stuff for them), maybe Square-Enix or Disney talked to him about putting Gravity Falls into KH? Maybe? Probably not but still I can dream? :c

But seriously, Bill boss fight. I need this 8C

I've been dreading this finale since Alex announced that the show was ending, but this was such an amazing episode and I'm so content with how everything turned out. Everything was wrapped up super nicely (though there are still some questions that need to be answered, but we might not get answers to a lot of them), and I'm so happy that all of the characters ended up in a good place by the end of it.

Except Bill. I was hoping that he would just get thrown back through the rift and not killed, but NOPE. HE GOT KILLED. FLAMMIT YOU DUMB DORITO I MISS YOU SO MUCH ;____; Though I'm pretty sure that he's still in Stan's mind and he's regenerating, especially if the axolotl thing and the "I invoke the ancient power that I may one day return" line is anything to go by. He'll be back, I know he will ;u; Though what he's going to do about his physical body being turned to stone is a problem... I guess it turns to stone when he's not in it in the physical world, so maybe he just has to float back to it and then TA-DA HE'S BACK

Also Bill singing. My dreams, they came true ;~; Pretty sure the song choice is a hint, too... Hmmmm...

This episode still hurt like crazy, though, especially with what happened to Stan (HE'S A HERO. YOU DID IT STAN ;___. I don't think I've been so upset about any show or any form of media before haha. But it was still extremely good! The only thing I was hoping for, though, was that Dipper and/or Mabel would have more interaction with Bill, especially Dipper. I would've loved to see Dipper punch Bill as payback for hurting his family and for how much he traumatized him after the Sock Opera thing. (I completely understand why that didn't happen, though; Stan and Ford were the ones that needed to defeat Bill in the end.)

I'm glad that they threw in some more scary/how-did-they-get-that-past-the-censors-Bill-you-are-terrifying stuff, too. (Bill's "spider" form is so cool, plus the scene where he's chasing down Dipper and Mabel was terrifying.) AND BLUBS/DURLAND IS CANON YES. I think that's the only ship in the show that's actually canon lol.

Alex said that they might do a comic or special in the future based on things that happened in the finale, but I'm hoping that they do a comic ;u; A comic based on Stan and Ford's adventures or something involving Bill's return would be really cool.

I didn't really notice a quality drop either? D: I'm going to rewatch it, but I probably couldn't see it through my tears initially XD;

Also, I wish Stan hadn't recovered his memories so quickly either, but I understand why he did get them back so fast? The story was supposed to have a happy ending, and, if Stan didn't have his memories back by the end of it, the ending wouldn't be happy. Plus, they were probably rushing to get everything in by the end of it with the time restraints and stuff. I'm sure that he might have memory problems in the future because of the whole thing and I doubt that he recovered all of his memories by the end of it.

OH YEAH! I forgot about the piano scene. Never mind. That was a blast with Bill. <3

I got a little teary eyed towards the end, when the kids had to say goodbye to Gravity Falls the most; I'm happy Mabel got to take Waddles with her though. Stan and Ford are both my favorite characters in the show, because they pull it together towards the end of the final show down against Bill to protect Dipper and Mabel. I didn't really expect the whole memory wipe to go down, and actually thought everyone holding hands was going to be the send off for Bill. Boy was I wrong on that one. I'm good with Bill being erased like that by Stan, because that was a real sacrifice for him to do. Everything else about the episode was in good quality for me, so if there was a drop, I wouldn't of noticed it any. All in all, I'm happy with the finale and it was well worth waiting for.
