Yeah, it's pretty bitchin being a magic user. I'm thinking about restarting as a mage.

I'm still at the second level (been playing FF XIII) so I gonna do so. Seriously can't stand this

Yeah, I restarted last night, and it's pretty awesome. Got about 6.5k souls on the first level and upped my magic strength to about 20. Only died once on the level, and that was to the dragon on the bridge.

Just beat Tower Knight as a Hunter.
Hell yeah, feel like such a man.

..Even though I just stood on an archway and shot arrows at his face.

I didn't have a problem with Tower Knight on my first game. Maneater and Dragon God were bitches though.

I didn't have a problem with Tower Knight on my first game.

I was playing a Temple Knight. Great class, but I could never get Tower Knight's attacks right.

I actually tried to play through as a thief, only to discover everything kills you immediately. So I switched to Temple Knight.
Also: MEAT CLEAVER.

I feel like starting over, I did have other characters but I never spent too much time on them. Mostly because I like my knight :|

My Knight's slow and clunky. Wields a Dragonbone Smasher in one hand and a big Adjudicator shield in the other. Also has a long thin flaming blade that I forget the name.

I'm playing as a thief and don't die that easily, as long as I'm careful.
There's a knight across a bridge with a spear who completely ass raped me though. Do I have to go that way? Or across the bridge with the dragon?

So I'm wondering, is it easy to level grind in this game? Basically, will enemies respawn, or is there a set amount of them for each level?

From what I've seen, there's a set amount unless you die or leave the area for the Nexus.

You have to go across the bridge with the dragon.

The Red Knight is for an, I think, optional boss, in the chapel next to him. You can't fight him now anyway. You have to go across the bridge.

And enemies respawn when you reload the area, meaning go back to the nexus or die.

I thought that might be it, but the gap between fire blasts didn't seem long enough to dash across it. Or do I have to choke the bitch?

You'll just have to run through it as soon as you're able to.

Sprint, if your character is slow then just take off some armor so you can move faster.

I wouldn't take on the Red Knight until you're Soul Level 30.
