Comet, often catches on fire while zooming from place to place, however due to an adaptation acquired by living on a lava-covered world he can barely feel it. Comet, is unable to express his feelings for whatever a reason and thus is hard to read. His world was destroyed 23 years ago so Rosalina took him in. Despite his age Comet, is young within life span of a luma.
The beginning of the Guardian's search ... I suppose it was soon after the Tripplet Solar Bond was engulfed by the darkness. As the one who governs the universe, next to Neo I knew exactly when it happened. I was sleeping, dressed in my light blue sleeping gown, my crown resting to my right. I remember what I heard, a bloodcurtling scream. I woke up, tears in my eyes, I rushed out of the room to see the three stars go out in endless dark sky.
I fell to my knees, "No. Why again?" was all I could muster for words as a limitless supply of tears dripped from my face. Much like they usually did when I felt sad, the Lumas gathered around me.
At the monitor ...

traquility of space embrace those who listen)
"Polari, it would seem once again the children of space need help, we must know first what is causing these events once more"
The black-brown elderly Luma seemed to have a grim look on his face, "I am afraid we already know full well what is responsible. I thought it a hopeless cause, and thus decided not to make you worry. However, now I feel obligated in telling you the universe has be dying for some time, in fact a war had been issued 12 years ago. And is already half-way over, in 12 more years everything will be gone"
"A war ... By who?"
"Chance"
I felt my heart stop, "B-but why? Why would he-?"
"Chance, he sees humans as forsaken beings, who have done nothing but destroy the worlds for their own gain. And many indeed have done so, perhaps it is unjust, but it is his judgement"
I shut my eyes and began shake my head, "This can't be ... It won't be ... I won't allow it! There must be some way ... Any way"
"Well ..." Polari began hesitantly. "There may be a way ... However, it is a gamble"
I opened my eyes, "Please tell me!"
Lumari shut his light blue eyes, "Chance referred to this war as a game, he said, that if we won everything would be saved and the everything would rely on themselves to keep watch of our fates. With that said, it may be remotely possible to win, how is beyond my knowledge I'm afraid"
I then remembered something Sora had told me before he left on his own gamble with fate, "Don't worry. Even if we get cut from the picture there's another Key out there, and I'm confidant he'll be able to undo all the mistakes"
"Another Key ... Is this what you meant ... Sora?" I pondered
Polari pondered as well, "This may well be what he meant. Perhaps if we were to find this Key ... Then-"
I took in a deep breath and then exhaled, "The universe is far too large for this trip to be done, even with a ship ... Our observatory is the only way. Polari, we need fast Luma to deliver a message"
"A message? To whom?"
"The Guardian"
Polari just about fainted, "THE GUARDIAN?! PARDON MY RUDENESS, BUT HE HAS BETTER
THINGS TO BE DOING THEN-!"
I then gave him a stern look, "Better things to be doing then saving everyone and everything from God's wrath?" I questioned him.
Polari than sighed, "... As you wish" He then began cleared his voice, "Ahe-ahe-ahe-ach-em ... COMET!!!!!" as Polari summoned Comet a crash could be heard, this was Comet breaking the sound barrier as he is that fast.
Before long the orange Luma appeared fire searing from his top point, given the fact he was a rare species of luma that could handle such intense tempures this didn't really faze him, obviously it could be considered an adaptation from his species being around magma all the time. "Yo"
"Good idea summoning him, Polari" I whispered to him impressed with the decision.
"Kay' what exactly am I here for, I was havin' a nice dream, then I hear your voice and wake up, so what do you want?"
Polari swallowed hard, "Your impatience is as staggering as ever"
"And you're as dim as deep space you ancient luma" he retorted his face being as blank and uninterested as ever.
Polari fumed, "WHAT DID YOU SAY YOU MOUTHY LITTLE T TAURI*!!!"(T Tauri; A prototype of the T Tauri Star, a early or young star)
"Do I have to repeat myself?" he asked in an annoyed tone, regardless that his composure still didn't change.
"I WILL NOT TOLERATE SUCH INSOLENCE!!!"
"Whaddya gonna do about it?"
"ERRGH!!!"
I shook my head, "Enough, we haven't any time to be squablling you two"
Polari cleared his throat out again, "Yes well ... Comet, we need you to take a message to Star Haven"
"Kay', what's the message?"
Star Haven-Star Sauctuary
Read With: YouTube - Paper Mario Soundtrack Disc 2 - (24) A City In The Stars (To those who've played the game consider this a breif trip down memory lane, to those who have not consider this an opportunity to broaden your horizons with a nice retro game. Who ever you are no matter which of these catagories you fall in to just enjoy the ambience)
There stood the Star Sauctuary, home to the 7 Star Spirits, guardians of both the Star Rod* (A magical item that is used to make wishes upon stars come true) and the Dream Depot* (The location where people's dreams and nightmares go, in this sense without it every living would have uncureable insomnia). The road was purple, surrounding it was water you could easily reach (Believed to be all holy water), near the entrance were two poles a star on the top of each spraying the water out like a gyser. The bricks that made up most of the place were cotton blue, the outer pillars that held 2nd roof were violet, the inner pillars that held the 1st roof were dark blue. The roofs were sky blue with white dots and Ivory held everything together. The vast starry sky had some different, larger stars aside from the many ponits of light that could be seen clearly, to the people of the world it is closest to it could be considered God's Shrine (Though in it dwell more than one god if so).
Before going inside Comet took in the feeling of the place, although incapable of showing it he was very excited, awestruck, and honored he could be given such a large task. After gathering himself he headed in, despite the outter look the floor inside was pure crystal, 8 larger cystals rose from the celestial river, a Star Spirit resting upon each. "So this is the Star Sauctuary?" he whispered to himself. Then what caught his eyes next took his breath away, the Star Rod rested up on a hexagonal cornerstone with a star imprinted on the top. The Star Rod had an orange handle, green at the tips, and finally a red sphere which held the yellow star and the handle together.
One of the Star Spirits, Skolar a purple star wearing a larger version of tiny reading lens and with both thick brown eye brows and a mustache rose a eye brow to the arrival of the lone luma. "Well this is a rare sight, has Polari turned a blind eye to this Lumas? I thought he was much more responsible than that"
Misstar, a pink-purple star wearing an orange banner over her shoulders like a scarf looked down upon him, "Yes, though I sense purpose for his arrival, what brings you here ... Young Luma?"
"Kay' first off, the name's Comet. 2nd off, I'm here with a message from Miss Rosalina"
Skolar, Misstar, and the rest of the Star Spirits; Eldstar a yellow star with a gray mustache and eyebrows, Mamar a yellow-brightish star with a pink bow tie to her top point, Muskular a sky blue star with a sky blue sailors hat, Klevar a light-yellow star having pink spots on his cheeks wearing a pink bow tie and holding a book, Kalmar a yellow star with a brown bushy mustache, and Twink a yellow youngster star began to mutter amongest themselves.
Muskular went first, "Kay' kid, you said you have a message from the guardian of the observatory. Well'then let's hear it"
"Kay' well it's not gonna be in her exact words, but it'll be the gist of it"
Eldstar nodded, "Well accuracy is not the importance, just tell us what you can"
Comet then shrugged, "Kay then. Well, basically worlds are once again disappearing, like they did 23 years back. Odd enough, around that time, before everything was back to normal Sora said there was another 'Key' out there, she thinks he might be able to help win the Oblivion's Game. She sent me to get the Guardian's help, so he can escort this 'Key' to the Observatory, thus making his or her's trip a little less tedious"
The palace then became so quiet you could hear a tack hit the floor if someone dropped it. There was terror in each of the Star Spirits eyes, obviously they couldn't believe what they had heard. Eldstar was the first to compose himself and then shut his eyes, "The Guardian, huh? It has been quite some time since he has been called forth"
"Really? I was told that the Guardian was helping out 23 years ago, I never got to me him, but that's what I heard"
"Take into consideration one day is equivilent to one year where he is now. 356 times 23 plus 5 is how many years it has been him" Eldstar explained.
"Kay' so can you get him?"
"First we must decide, demoncratically, if this a grave enough matter"
"... Ya gotta be f@#$en jokin'"
Skolar glared sharply at Comet, "Still your tougue, I will not tolerate such uncouth language"
"Look, I know you're practically gods/goddesses but are you serious? All of the worlds are going to be destroyed, so much suffering is about to take place, and the reason for all this is gonna be because you need to have a vote? There are 8 of you, there's not gonna be anyone to break a tie if it occurs, how can you guy's be considered Guardians if you're not all willing to protect what you vowed you would?"
There was a silence, then Klevar spoke, "Point taken, young luma. As guardians it is our duty to protect what we said we would. We will not let any one suffer in vain, isn't that correct everyone?"
"Hmm ... Very well, we will need everyone to cooperate for this" Skolar admitted.
"Yeah, we can't disgrace everyone's existence by not offering a helping hand" Muskular agreed.
Everyone else nodded. Eldstar raised a point, "Then it is. Everyone concentrate you power" with that the star rod moved off the pedestal, and the pedestal began to move gradually. The scraping of it's moving could be heard faintly. After finally being completely moved aside it revealed a hole was underneath, "Below the Guardian mediates, he holds the power source to the Star Rod, and protects it with his life. His name is somewhat difficult to pronounce, thus he goes by a different name"
"Kay' what's that?"
Underneath the Star Saunctuary
Beneath the Star Sauctuary was a round alcove made entirely out of prism. I could easily tell that there was a difference in how time passed here compared to where I was not so long ago. At the bottom was a pedestal where a star tiny yellow star, a star that constantly changed color, and a small wooden doll dressed in blue and yellow rested.
"Guardian Geno, is that you?"
The room became dark, "Yes, is there something you need?"
End of Chapter ...
