So let me get this straight...
To be able to battle MF you have to beat VLS...
But to battle him you have to go to a save file in which you can still go to LoD...

It's gonna be a pain to level up in that save file huh? Not just that... After you battle him in that save file... Can you go through that file and then battle VLS again? You know, for the Keyblade?

It's not that complicated, just make a new save for before you leave LoD for the last time, then resume the other file
After you beat VS, go back to the second file

But what bother's me is, does that mean our powers and levels will be lowered or will they somehow be carried on?

the guid will tell you when to save but the dumb part is the only save for ven is at the begaing of the game
