Nomura's protagonists almost always have blue eyes, seems he just likes the color.

Nomura loves blue eyes, Riku's eyes are more of an aquamarine color, it has more of a green tint to it then Sora, Roxas, TAV's. Kairi's eyes are more of a blueish purple to me but i doubt having blue eyes means you can wield a keyblade

Kairi's eyes are blue. She's not magical or anything.

Not all babies are born with blue eyes...

Either way, I don't think that having blue eyes really means anything. :/ A lot of characters have blue eyes. It's Nomura's fetish.

The only eye color given any importance is yellow/orange.

At first Peins eyes are like clear thent hey were grey.
Sometimes in games things change for no reason.
