I hope this doesn't throw off anyone. Apparently this got a lot of praise when i drew it.

I was on duty, and i was tired because it was 8 hour watch, so i drew this quick sketch to keep me awake. My friends were surprised, and loved it. I thought it was a simple piece...but okay...here it is

It's very unique and original looking, as a character the longer I keep standing in it. Not just that, but, an alien or zora blended feel to it too. The details in clothing, facial expressions and body are always impressive.

Ophan, what inspires you to draw? How long did I take you to draw this one? If you don't mind me asking.

Hmmm...a lot of things help inspire me to draw. Music, the mood i'm in, photography, movies..or pretty much media related stuff, other artists, and the compliments and critique of others. Most of all, my gf. When i feel at peace, it's easier for me to concentrate on a picture, especially if it isn't heavy on detail.

This picture probably took me around 5 - 10 minutes. It's just pen and paper, so nothing too deep

Yeah that's a really rad looking Majin Buu. And there's something about pen sketches that look inherently awesome, though I've never been able to pinpoint why.

i haven't done anything in a while because of stress...trying to balance a lot of stuff in my life. Pressure from work...many things.
