I'll have too agree with you there. It would be kind of fun with more gears, extra missions, side stpries, but according to Videogame history... well not much crosses the JP line and often History repeats itself.
I think RE: 358/2 days would be an interestnig adventure, yet it might seem a bit repetitive, or hopefully it will have enough new additions to make things a bit more interesting, aside from graphical upgrades.

ays or Days FM would seem a lot cooler.
Improved graphics would be a step up; and makes a Final Mix worth it in that sense.

Add in more missions and extend the size of the worlds wouldn't hurt anyone but the ones working on it.
Kingdom Hearts: Reays would soon good for either Wii or PS3.

that would be weird though wouldn't it? or maybe they choose to include gameplay in Kairi's part of the story.. then maybe she meets Xion? a nobody created in her image.

Um that wouldn't work really........and the only person who has a story to play as is Roxas, everyone else is only playable in Mission Mode which is obviously just missions

Perhaps show some cutscenes depicting Kairi's normal life as a bonus to beating the game including the one in the Re:CoM credits when she loses her memories of Sora.
A R/R for Riku that actually does him justice would work.
Adding in the Roxas vs Sora fight as a unlocked boss battle.

There's really no point in a re:days. But there could be a final mix for it so that we could play through all the 358 days.

You know that's impossible considering that there are certain spoiler-filled reasons why not all 358 Days are playable.

Japan have already got their 358/2 days.
It would be useless for them to release an updated version, Japan would feel, conned (well I would).
Usually the English version is released, then the Japanese, but the Japanese version is updated because they listened to the English feedback and improved on it for the Japanese.
But this time, Japanese version was released so, if anything the English version should be updated.
But it won't, I think they're happy enough with the version and I've heard nothing of a Final Mix release, but it might be a little bit updated, who knows?

yeah i agree its not gonna happen if you are only to play as Roxas in the story mode it would be pointless to have it on say a PS3 or an XBOX 360.
