358/2 Days: Final Mix

Since this topic keeps on spamming other threads, I decided to make a thread on this. It's just to discuss the possibility of a Final Mix ect. So state your opinions on whether or not you think there will be a Final Mix and all that good stuff.

Yes I think there might be, if Japan does get one thing that the usa gets then they will probably make a FM, but thats just me.

I don't want a final mix. For every single game a new version of it? No thanks. And at the moment I don't think Nomura would be up to it. There hasn't been any word about it. After BBS and Coded and FF13 CN Series, he would probably focus more on a KH3. But I really doubt they would make a final mix for this. It's a side game after all.

Well, they make a remake with CoM, so maybe not a Final Mix but a re:358/2 Days. That I sort of doubt, since SE has a lot on their plate.

I hope there won't be a Final Mix. There's the chance that they could release it, but I hope they really don't. Put all their ideas into the game and leave it at that. >_<

so like on the PS2/PS3 maybe? like that, then yeah I'm sure it would make sales then. also the DS isn't the greatest system for remakes.

I think they could possibly do what they did with CoM, They made RE:CoM

so possibly Days could have a similar thing

I wouldn't mind a RE: 358/2 Days if they gave the other Organization members talking scenes...

To those who are going to use Re:CoM to support their argument: The thing about Re:CoM is that it wasn't a re-release like the Final Mix games, it was a complete remake. Sans the minor storyline and gameplay additions, there were no major additions made to Re:CoM's at all, much unlike the Final Mix games. I don't see what else they could tack onto Days, so a Final Mix release is definitely be out of the question. It definitely doesn't need a remake, either.

Ok my bad read the topic wrong.

Ok a Final Mix version of 358/2 days is major unlikely, this is because 1, it's a handheld game, and yes COM got remade, not expanded upon that was only done to help the sales of FM+ nothing more nothing less.

2. There's really nothing to expand upon, 358/2 unlike KIngdom Hearts 1 and 2 didn't really give off major hints for a next game or anything. There's nothing to really expand upon it, that and the DS slot is more then likely full.

3. It'd probably have to be a downloadable content, which I don't think the DS has support for and re-releasing the game as a FM+ would prove less profit since DLC is now the new "thing" these days.

This Final Mix bad blood started when we Americans got the Sephiroth fight and Chernabog so the Japanese SE buttfucked us by allowing whoever owned the Final Mix of the first KH to do all that cool stuff, have some new Keychains and fight Xemnas.

In KHII, it is agrued that we got even less than the Japanese in the original game but there was still Final Mix.

There will be a Final Mix for this game either on the PS3 or Wii.

I doubt that Days would get a Final Mix since it's a side game. :/ There's not really anything that could be added to it.

CoM was only remade so that the people who didn't play it before, since it was on the GBA, could play it and understand what's going on during KHII. Like why Sora was even asleep in the first place, who Namine and DiZ are, what Riku's doing with DiZ, ect. Even then, it's only a remake. They didn't really add anything, aside from changing Zexion's death.
