Who is more epic

Ditto. I don't like having to choose between Sora and Ventus. >: Although I chose Ventus because he said it first and plus, Ven had alot happening to him and like VirgilTheHeart already explained, I agree with that...for the matter but I'd say if I had to choose both, I would. But with Ven sacrificing himself and knowing he did it for his friends, makes him more epic in that sense.

Sora's Scene with the line was dull (in fact, I hadn't remembered the line at all until I saw the Ven Version in the Jump Festa Trailer and the commercials) It had no background music, no dramatic tone or emphasis to that last line.

Ven's Scene is much more intense. It's the endgame, and he knows that to beat the enemy here means Ven will be destroying himself. But he's doing it for his friends. The music REALLY emphasized the line, along with the close-up and motions of Ven as he said the line, not to mention Ven's voice is fierce and unyielding as he says it. He knows that it's almost definitely the last chance for him to ever say anything important, so he cries out "MY FRIENDS ARE MY POWER!" and it is all said and done in one hell of a Beastin' Moment.

Internal struggle VS. External struggle. Sora was fighting against his best friend/brother figure a person he has known his entire life is know taunting him an trying to kill him not to mention he has no weapon and his other freinds (Donald and Goofy) have deserted him. Not to mention the knowledge that if he fails he won't be able to rescue Kairi and stop Malificient from opening the final keyhole there by stopping her from gaining god-like power and plunging ALL worlds into everlasting darkness.

I think there scene's are both equally as epic.

Not entirely. The way the two said the line is different too. Sora just says it, while Ven has a lot of drive and emotion through the words. Sora's Speech, overall, was great, but the line "My friends are my power!" really didn't stand out with him like they did with Ven.

But the music really did help set the scene too. ;D

He had Donald and Goofy backing him up and his speech was just him telling Riku that the keyblade is not "all that" and not ultimate power and that "his friends are his power." Riku being one of these friends

Ven is facing off against Vanitas who is pretty much Ven's arch-nemesis and cause of most of Ven's pain through out BBS. Vanitas was not only wielding the X-Blade in which Vanitas and MX had told TAV how devestating pwerful it was, but was also facing each other off within their consiousness, their heart, their Awakening Station place thingy. Vanitas threatened to end Ven, then the worlds, and then end Terra and Aqua whom he cares about more than himself. Ven not willing to let that happened told Vanitas wielding possibly the most ridiculous weapon, that he doesn't care how much power Vanitas wields around and throws at him that "His friends are his power" meaning usin that alone he will defeat his darkness at the cost of his own life for his friends.

Hmmmmm.....

Actually, Donald and Goofy had already returned to Sora when he said that line. xD
And he didn't know completely about the whole Keyhole thing regarding the 7 princesses yet, either, so he didn't know that Maleficent would gain God-like power, nor did he know it would plunge all worlds into darkness. For him at that time, failure meant not being able to save Kairi. Hell, even if he did lose to Riku, I doubt that means he would have DIED. So he still would have been around to try it again.
Meanwhile, Ven's situation was lose-lose. He was going to be destroyed no matter what, but if he failed, that means his best friends' lives were also on the line, and God only knows what other kind of destruction would have happened, with the X-blade's creation and MX in the position to control it. May have meant that more than just TAV's lives were at stake; the safety of all worlds may have been as well.

Yeah, I'd say there was more conviction and reason for Ven.

No. Ven only fought off Vanitas, who decided to end the fight and merge with Ven, seeing that he was finally capable of rejoining with him. The reason the xBlade was incomplete was actually because Ven managed to somewhat resist the fusion, so while Vanitas was in control of Ven's body, the xBlade was incomplete.

Sora's more preaching. His "Friends are my Power"line sucked. He should stick to "No, The heart way be weak... blah blah blah"

Ven was awesome when he said it.

But Sora going beast on Riku in the first game when he's going to get stabbed was fucking awesome.

They both Kick Ass, but in the case of that line: Ven ftw!

Step 1: After Aqua caught Ven from falling to the ground frozen by MX, Braig approached the two and clashed with Aqua.

Step 2: After Braig left, Vanitas dives down from above Aqua and nearly kills her before the now un-frozen Ven arrives and challenges Vanitas to a fight.

Step 3: Vanitas stops the fight and unmasks himself, deciding Ventus is now ready for them both to reunite and create the xBlade.

Step 4: Ven, as the reunion occurs, manages to resist enough to only create an incomplete xBlade.

Step 5: Ven regains conciousness at the Awakening, who is met by Vanitas, telling him they need to try and remake the xBlade again for a complete version. Ven denies the offer and tells him he'll destroy Vanitas and the xBlade. Vanitas shoots back that it'll destroy Ven too, and that it's all for his friends.

Step 6: "You just don't get it at all! You get stronger when you have friends you want to protect! MY FRIENDS ARE MY POWER!"

Step 7: Epic Duel between Ven and Vanitas, which Ven wins, but both are destroyed.
