What path did you set?

When playing it on normal, I chose staff and got rid of the shield. Now on expert, I got rid of the staff and chose the sword.

you have to chose the sword to confirm "hard" mode (i seen this in a Ps2 cheat book that had every PS2 cheat on it)

I chose the staff and sword and got rid of the sheild.

okay it all comes down to preference... if you want to be a magic caster you have to do staff and give up sheild

if you want to be a fighter take the sword and give up the staff

if you want to be a paladin you take the sheild and give up the staff or the sword.. either your boned LOL
