For the record, the 14th and I haven't had good run-ins in the past. Who knows, maybe this year will be different.

What do y'all think about Valentine's Day? Love it? Hate it? Discuss people.

ah Valentine's Day the day of chocolate, love and depression for those who have no one to celebrate it with. regardless i enjoy it. it's a fun holiday. most certainly not my favorite. but it's entertaining nonetheless.

Ehh, I dont really looks fwd to it. Too mushy! My girlfriend loves it though, she always gets jewlery, lol no chocolate. It's only once a year though.

I don't mind the holiday. I particularly enjoy when a couple ends up upstaging one another with gifts. Such as one buying the other a gold necklace and other just bought them a box of chocolates. The ensuing guilt is entertaining.

On a less sadistic note I enjoy the holiday, but think it's a bit to steeped in commercialism.

Personally I hide from Valentine's day xD mainly because I have never really had one >__>;

Though to be honest most of the time I don't even realise it is Valentines until someone points it out.

I think that if you are in a relationship, you should make every day count you know, not just leave it all to one day of the year.

xD people who are with someone on Valentines, make it mean something and be spontaneous.

Last year I found a flower inside my book and a "love-note" inside my school-bag, however I didn't except to receive any gifts. But now, this year, I except many gifts especially from the girl I love~!:wub:

At 13, Valentines day should just be another day, so don't feel bad.

Same here. I remember as a kid we would have to make stupid boxes and kids would put valentines in it and i tended to get alot. Even got some from guys so guess they thought i was sexy which is somewhat creepy now i think about it . But from like 9 to 19 i just thought of it as another day and nothing more. I had a girlfriend most of the time on valentines days but it was called avoiding or they knew i didnt care and wasnt going to try to hard to get them stuff. Now my gf as of now i will do anything for and some reason her valentines gift was a DS that i got here. Guess i win the war in upstaging her this year.
