At the very top of the Great Crystal in Giruvegan.
Wierd though, Terra mean earth, Ven means wind, and Aqua means water
Riku means land, Sora means sky, and Kairi means Ocean

Terra= Riku
Ven= Sora
Aqua= Kairi

Just a point, this has nothing to do with connection. Just each of there names is similar to somebody. So theres a possible
connection.

Pretty much what I was thinking but there is probably some deeper connection, at least I hope there is a deeper connection. The similarity in the names was probably an after thought more than anything.

again, riku also means shore, and the names combined equals=destiny island attributes

If Soul Eater were a keyblade, then Riku wouldn't have given the 'Ohoho, I have a keyblade what' speech to Sora once he got the Heart Unlocker.

"Is that-?"
"Yes, a keyblade, but unlike yours, this one has the power to unlock people's hearts."
Riku couldn't have known that Soul Eater was a keychainless keyblade. Neither would Ansem SoD, who I think was talking through riku at the time he said that.

It's so sad that I didn't even have to think to remember that word for word.
lol I remember the starting poem things pretty well; you know, the 'hope that our hearts will blend' thing

technically, we only get to see a little of each world in the game.

Sounds like an interesting idea, but isn't the meanings of
TAV essentially the same of the meanings of SRK? Meaning
that the attributes of the world would be the same too?

thugh technically all the worlds area as small as they are shown on maps.

again....shore, sea, and sky and them living on the island reffering to that, means there names are connected toward destiny islands. so possibly TAV have the same reference

yes though my theory is each one has a seperate world, so it wont have to be too generalized on which world they live in

yes, but the point of this theory is not similarity. but instead it focus's on the characters being named after parts of their homeworld.

Ok, but maybe their names have nothing to do with their homeworld, but instead their names are symbolic of each individual personality.

again, the similarity might be that each one would be named after there own home world the same way SRK has.

It's not that i don't want to accept your theory, it's a very viable idea. It's that i don't see why they would be named after their home world.

again why not? i'm not saying its [lanned to be named like that, but by the producers who made the game, theey made it look coincidental, even though it sounds more like fate

Here's my thought on the connections,
So far, TAV for the most part have only visited home worlds
of the PoH. One of the few worlds they visited that do not
have a PoH is Destiny Islands. One scene implies that Terra
may be able to sense power of different hearts, specifically
he was able to sense the pure light of a heart of a PoH.
Perhaps this ability is what draws them to different worlds
in which special hearts reside. However in the case of
Destiny Islands, they are not drawn by the heart of a
PoH but instead by the hearts of two children which are
special in the way that they are qualified to wield the
Keyblade. And as in the cycle of Master teach Apprentice,
some day it will be the duty of Terra, Aqua, and Ven to
instruct these two in the way of the Keyblade. Though
Sora and Riku are too young to take on as apprentices,
having found these two qualified hearts, Ven and Terra
make determine which among the two children will be
their students.

That's how I think their connected by fate, however their
connection seems to go much further than that, as examplified
by the physical resemblance Roxas shares with Ven, or the
resemblance Terra has with Xehanort, whose Heartless attaches
to Riku.

I think by the end of BBS, Terra and Ven's hearts are drained
almost entirely of their light and darkness, causing them to lose
some of their heart's strength and most all of their memories.
I think Ven's heart falls into Sleep as a result of this, and is
able to travel through the world freely. He might go to Sora
as part of his duty to guide a future wielder even though
he is no longer present in a physical form. Terra barely survives
but retains human form. He becomes Aprentice Xehanort and
then becomes a Heartless. He possesses Riku's vessel and
changes it into one of his image with black white red clothing.
When Sora loses his heart, Ven's heart is released and it
too obtains a vessel and determines its form into one resembling
Ven with black white red clothing. Then Sora beats Xehanort's
Heartless and Riku reclaims control over his vessel. However
Riku's heart was also greatly drained of light and darkness, which
is why he almost falls into Sleep. However he embraces his
darkness, suppresses Xehanort's Heartless, and finally the light
from Ansem's machine made Terra's heart dormant within Riku.
Also, Roxas returns to Sora, returning Ven's heart to Sora, and
Ven's heart too goes into a dormant state. Thus by the end of KH2,
Terra's heart Sleeps in Riku and Ven's heart Sleeps in Sora.

Because the "fate" part in the similarity of their names was mearly the similar meanings.

One of the few worlds they visited that do not
have a PoH is Destiny Islands.

Destiny islands is home to kairi, one of the princesses of heart.

they are not drawn by the heart of a
PoH but instead by the hearts of two children which are
special in the way that they are qualified to wield the
Keyblade.

finding sora and riku must have been after math of looking for kairi

as for the other stuff, sounds plausible.
