I remember in the GDC, Harrison said something like anyone who's giving you trouble can be "removed" from your vision. As in, they can't send you messages, nor can you see anything they might be doing.
I think it's meant for people who are harrassing you.
I heard that there won't be any collision detection so that people can't block you from going somewhere or doing something.
That'd be bad if there was, as it'd turn into Habbo.

It's only a hub between the services Sony will provide. For those who are into the whole customization scene, they'll have what they are alloted and will buy items if they desire.
But the question still remains; will the PS Eye be used to create your personal avatar?
For Home? Yeah, it probably could.
In Tony Hawk's Underground for PSP, I could store a pic from my Memory Stick and map it to the character model.
If you didn't have a PS Eye, you could probably use some external file and map it the same way.
It can be used for a personal avatar in the upcoming Snake game for the PS3, so I expect the same for the later released Home.
Even if they don't have some sort of option to map your Home Avatar with your face, the face customization options are enough so that you could really make it look like yourself with some effort.

I don't see what you mean. As of today I'm still potentially in the beta until it actually starts and I do not get a confirmation email of acceptance.
