Oh, and Haley Joel Osment did a fantastic job on KH1 Sora. The same goes for Hayden Panettiere and David Gallagher. They captured those characters a whole lot better than Willa and Jason did to Aqua and Terra. To think they were just kids.

HJO and Hayden have voice acted before KH1, and needless to say, the voice direction was certainly much better at that time.

Voice direction for games after KH1 have been bad.

They told Panettiere to sound "more like a princess" because of Kairi's role as a Princess of Heart.*
They took Richard Epcar or whoever replaced Billy Zane, didn't show him the scene he was working on and told him to mimic him.*

*Just to clarify, I mean KH 2 here.

I disagree. The voice direction in KH1 actually was better. There was a different voice director for that game, and they actually hired well known actors who had more memorable voices instead of "professional" VAs. I haven't really heard much of a stand out in the later games besides Paul St. Peter, Leonard Nimoy, and Mark Hamill.

Has anyone started stalking/bothering the VAs that aren't Epcar? poor guy, he's so friendly I feel like that's why everyone goes after him first. I'm kind of hoping they bring Hayden back permanently. Alyson Stoner was alright for filling in while Hayden was busy, but come on. I wants my Hayden and I wants it now.

That is, if we get any Kairi/Xion scenes.

I only suggested him because I think he's a good actor, he played Spock in the 2009 Star Trek movie and Nimoy played MX. Plus Nomura's a Trekkie. And his voice would fit the role.

Lawl. I remember when my fellow thespians used to rave about how Jonathon Groff was definitely not gay when he was in Spring Awakening. Because two gay cast members would have just been too much for them.
