Meilin smirked. "Bettre than you're gonna be!" she said, dashing behind the gloating blonde and slicing off the entire tail of the monster about to sting him. She threw her shuriken at another, knocking the scythe from its hand.

 

[Malum Incantum]

OOC: I guess there can be...let's make it...a unique creature..

Malum was about to attack another creature when suddenly, there was an odd humming sound around them, it seemed extremely loud, yet whispering quiet at the same time. It was then that it hit him what it was, but it was too late.

The grove of trees next to him exploded as he was tossed violently through the air and smashed into a large boulder, yelling in pain as he fell to the ground. He slowly looked up, trying to ignore the pain for the time being, and saw it.


It was a large, odd, greenish creature, that apparently had no eyes. (http://www.wizards.com/dnd/images/MM35_gallery/MM35_PG262.jpg)

He knew almost instantly that the large horn-like appendage on its nose was used to produce sound, that could pretty much destroy anything in its path.

Currently, he was in its path.

 

[Meilin]

Meilin gasped. "Not more of them!" she yelled.

With speed born of Hunter Nin training, she shoved Malum out of the path of the green monster. She turned and threw a handful of shuriken at it, but the creature merely flew higher, out of reach of the shuriken. she tried again, but they were repelled by a wall of sound. She glared, her eyes narrowing. "Sound...." she said, hatred in her voice.

The rage that remained from Itachi's betrayal flared up in her again. She had a tendancy to resent anything that used sound as a weapon, because in Her world, that had been her prize project.

Meilin jumped into a tree. "This thing is mine."

 

[Morpheaus]

The hound's of Rwetya had torn through the Syguta lines, ravaging their warriors and spreading blood throughout the jungles. The hounds surrounded a group of six warriors and began picking them off one by one with a cruel laziness. Screams of sadness and fear rang through the forest as one hound broke off from his pack and leapt at the cluster of Syguta warriors.

A whine of pain escaped the hounds snout seconds before it exploded in a mass of gore. Ukiah floated a few feet from the ground, his right hand raised before him with a whisp of flame sputtering between his fingers. "Run to the watch towers, the warriors there will need you aid," he said in a commanding tone. The Syguta pressed their heads to their shields and ran into the jungles. "Come get me you beasts!" Ukiah shouted as seven hounds charged him with lightning speed. The first two hounds fell upon Ukiah with intense savagery.

He responded in kind grapping the first hound by the fangs and slamming it around into the monstrous behind him. A back kick caught the second hound with such force that the gigantic beast was sent flying back for hundreds of feet.

With a simple flick of his hand several million tiny pebbles lifted into the air and tore through a third and fourth hound. They fell to the ground without a sound as their blood drained from billions upon billions of tiny puncture wounds. The remaining three hounds stopped their charge and circled Ukiah cautiously. Cunning was reflected in their eyes, but though they hungered to tear into his flesh they knew that three could not stand against him and retreated into the jungles beyond. "Tell your master that I will leave him three hounds to bare messages. But the rest belong to me!"

A terrible gleam appeared in his eyes then, and he motioned with his left arm one of the gargatuan trees nearby. The tree's roots exploded from the ground. "It's time you false gods learn true fear."

Deep purple/white energy flowed around the tree skinning the bark from it and fusing it with incredible power. The energy made the wood stronger than diamond and shaped the great tree into a mighty arrow. "Your tribute to self indulgence and vanity shall be the first of your losses!"

With a mighty roar Ukiah stepped back and threw his left arm forward with authority. The great arrow streaked through the air like a meteor from the heavens and slammed into one of the great citadels. The floating city shuttered in the air as a series of great explosions rocked through it. After several long minutes the city cracked into two; both pieces slowly fell from the heavens as a Syguta battle cry filled the jungle.

 

[Mitsukai]

((OOC: *applauds Morpheaus* nicely done.))

IC: Reluctantly, Naruto thanked Meilin quietly before she sped off to fight more enemies. More Scorpion warriors appeared and five of them circled Naruto. He simply grinned as he performed a seal, "Kage Bushin no Jutsu!" and created as many clones as the enemies that threatened him. Each clone picked a target and effectively picked them off one by one, faster which each kill.

One of the clones pointed up to the sky, and the others followed, as they witnessed the destruction of a floating citadel, and joined in with the Syguta war cry, charging in on more enemies.

 

[Meilin]

Meilin saw the citadel fall. "Time to take out the ramaining garbage then." she said smiling. She jumped to the uppermost branches of the tallest tree in the area, and taunted the beast closer to her. "C'mon you great green lump! Over here!" she yelled. Her hands flew into their most practiced katas. Horse, Dragon, Snake, Dragon, Tiger, Ox, Dragon. She smiled and began to sing. She sang with all the raw anger of a shinobi betrayed, all the pain of a child forced to grow up far to fast. She sang, and the bird turned quickly upon it's compatriots, shredding it's fellows and impaling itself upon the tree below Meilin. She smirked as she landed, then collapsed, upon the ground.

She gasped for breath. "Not bad, eh?"

[Mitsukai]

Naruto and his clones charged in with the syguta, caught up in the moment, a rush of adrenaline and confidence as the first Naruto made contact with the first scorpion warrior of the approaching army. He jumped to avoid it's tail, then sprung off it's head to get higher into the air. "Now..." Naruto said in a cocky tone, "try to avoid this!"

Naruto and his clones all performed a seal simultaneously, "Kage bushin no jutsu!" and made five mroe clones for each clone that perfomed the jutsu. They all jumped to join the leading Naruto as they pulled out shuriken from their pockets.

"SHIHOU HAPOU SHURIKEN NO MAKI!- ALL DIRECTION HIGH VOLUME SHURIKEN FIRING!" They all cried in unison as they let their shuriken fly in near-perfect timing. The shuriken were so many that most Scorpion Warriors on the front line couldn't avoid the attack, and fell squirming on the ground, tripping some of the other warriors behind them. "Haha!" all the Naruto Cried as they dissapeared leaving only one behind.

Taking his cloak his off Hiei decides walks in front of Naruto. "Nice attack kid." Black fire begins to surround Hiei as if it were his aura. Extending his right arm with an open palm facing up the fire aura starts becoming less and less as it all goes into Hiei hand. The dragon looking tattoo on his arm screams and starts moving into Hiei's hand. Changing his open palm into a fist Hiei looks at the scorpion creatures. "You're existence on this battle is now over." "DRAGON OF THE DARKNESS FLAME!" Throwing his fist forward like a punch Hiei projects the dragon out of his fist and toward the scorpion creatures. As line upon line of those creatures gets incinerated, those who weren't directly hit by the the attack were burned and damaged greatly. "That takes care of most of them, time to kill the stragglers." Hiei then unsheathes his katana and goes the injured scorpions and beheads all that are injured.

[Morpheaus]

"Excellent job, Naruto," Ukiah said as he appeared nearby a horde of Scorpion warriors snapping at him. He dodged a blast of acidic venom and sliced the legs of his attack off with a single swift motion. A roar that drowned out the sounds of battle emerged from the Scorpion lines. Ukiah landed next to Naruto and turned to see what new creature was moving against them.

The Scorpion warriors parted as a several monstrous beings stepped forward. Their skin was albino, and each of their two heads had red eyes.

Ukiah sighed as he looked up at the giant ape like creatures. They stood atleast fifty feet in height. "This is going to be fun. Tell the others, Naruto, they're called Jub Jub. They climb the giant trees of this planet and live in clans. You won't find one alone," he said. "I'll take the first wave."

 

[Mitsukai]

Naruto grinned when Ukiah complimented his efforts, but it lasted for only a few seconds when he saw the oncoming Jub Jub. He nodded to Ukiah as he jumped off to tell the others. He found Meilin first and skidded to a halt, "Jounin girl, we have some new enemies, and Ukiah might need our help, they are called Jub Jub, and they are preeeetty big. I have to go tell the others, so go meet up with him, he is with the syguta on the front lines." naruto informed Meilin as he jumped off and found Malum next, telling him the same thing, then telling Ed afterwards. He then headed back to Ukiah as fast as he could, he didn't want to miss out on a fight like this.

OOC: By the way, is Prince Sasuke still in this RP?

 

[Malum Incantum]

Malum had just watched Meilin handle the creature with defined grace. He smiled inwardly a little, she was indeed a very awesome warrior...he then blinked and shook his head as he looked at the citadel fall, and clapped, applauding Ukiah. "Cool dude..." He smirked as he turned and heard about the Jub Jub from Naruto, and nodded his appreciation to the boy.


He raised his hands and put them in an odd formation at two scorpion warriors that he saw trying to cut off a group of Syguta warriors. "Not on my watch....Halom Shulit Qverp" Slowly, an odd blue white mist came forth from his hands, and surrounded the two scorpion warriors. Suddenly, Malum clenched his fists, as the mist became ice, and suddenly encased the two warriors in it, freezing them almost instantaneously.

"Good enough.."

 

[Morpheaus]

Ukiah moved at speeds beyond supernatural, slicing past the legs of a Jub Jub before it had time to react. The great beast fell to the ground as blood poured from its severed muscles. Dreamer's blade cut through the thick fur of a second Jub Jub's wrist, but the beast was quicker and manged to catch Ukiah. He want flying through the air carried three times as far because of his speed. "That's not good," he said to himself and spread his arms wide. His momentum stopped in a flash of blue energy. "Time to thin out the ranks as they say."

Dreamer's blade let off a shrill whine as deep blue smoke poured from it crackling with black lightning. "Death's Shroud!"

The blue smoke was sucked back into the blade with a loud poop. A huge wave of black lightning lashed out from Dreamer's hilt and covered the monsterous army striking everything in its path down. The stink of ozone quickly filled the air as the mass of black lightning began to disperse leaving a ocean of charred flesh and bone in its wake.

 

[Mitsukai]

Naruto halted and half-gasped at the once living army, he looked up at Ukiah and then back down at the corpses in disbelief. If I ever manage to get the staff, what I am supposed to do when he comes after it? Why does he even need our help if he can do that by himself? he thought. Ukiah's power was terrifying, but in the end it only helped to drive Naruto even further. If he can become that powerful, then so can I! Naruto told himself confidently as he came into Ukiah's sight and gave him the thumbs up.

 

[Meilin]

Meilin half-limped over to Ukaih and Malum, walking gingerly on her left leg. She smiled as she saw the Jub Jub. "No problem. This doesn't look difficult." she lied. She wouldn't admit it in front of anyone, but she'd been careless again. Her use of her special jutsu nearly toasted her, she'd barely be able to bluff her way through this one.

She climbed back up the tree, albiet with far less grace than she normally would've, and stood, nearly on one foot, Senbon in hand. "At least these I can paralyze....." she said.

 

[Mitsukai]

Naruto walked up to the rest of the group and looked at Ukiah. "So, is that all of them? Or do I get to have some more fun?" Naruto asked him in a tone that he tried to keep normal.

 

[Malum Incantum]

He looked at Meilin and saw her crawl up in a tree. He suddenly leapt up and landed in front of her. "Hey, you look tired. Just relax here. We will take care of them until you regain your strength....then you can join back in the fun, okay?" He smiled a moment before he flipped backwards back to the ground and studied some of the oncoming figures.

"How should I handle this.... hmmmm.."

 

[Mitsukai]

Naruto also saw the new arrivals, "it looks like my question has been answered" Naruto half-smiled as he unsheathed his katana and kunai then held them in a defensive stance. Whats the point? he found himself asking, even if I try to take them on, that Ukiah will just wipe them all out again... he thought. He lowered his weapons and sighed, then just walked over to the tree Meilin was sitting on and sat down agaisnt the tree trunk.

 

[Meilin]

Meilin glared down at Naruto. "Oi, Genin! No being lazy, we're here to help the Syugta!" she said, grasping the tree for balance with one hand, but with her senbon still ready in the other.

 

[Mitsukai]

Naruto looked up and returned the stare.
"Don't even bother, Jounin... You saw what Ukiah did just a few seconds ago didn't you? Just sit up in your tree and watch, we don't even have to worry..."
Naruto blinked then turned back to face Ukiah, intent on his movements. He was determined to see what Ukiah would do next, and hopefully find a way around it.

 

[Meilin]

Meilin threw a branch at the Genin. "Baka. That's no way to become Hokage, you lazy bum!" she said. As she spoke, one of the largest creatures approached them. She turned as quickly as shecould on her injured foot, and threw the kunai at it's neck, causing it to fall back onto it's fellows.
