What the hell Taochan? September 6th is a Friday. If I remember correctly, BBS did come out on a friday in September.
Technically, yes. Also technically, no.
It is. I remember Square Enix announcing BbS as "Summer 2010" and it was released September 10th (in Europe).
Then again September 6th is a Friday, which is a common day for games to be released in Europe. I'd still say it's just a playceholder simply because September 6th is still in summer and amazon just loves placeholders.

I WANT TO BELIEVE. Assuming that the date counts for the UK too, then that would be stupid. School starts like around the 6th of September, that wouldn't be a very smart move IMO. I'm guessing the real date would be later than that.

This is what's known as a "placeholder date." Online and offline retailers use dates that take place either at the end of the month or the end of the year when they haven't been informed of the official release date.
Again, it's all placeholder dates. We can probably expect a "true" info on the western releases around one or two weeks after the Japanese release, if they don't decide to wait until E3, that is.
