Here comes my opinion...

The white head part could actually be a hood. The mouth is BEHIND the zipper, not the zipper itself. So, maybe opening the zipper somehow improved their eyesight.

Or then it was just something subconcious... Either way it's not really important.

I don't think anyone is saying that the zipper is the mouth. Just that the zipper opens up to the mouth. Besides, I don't think they need eyesight. They're only Nobodies- the lowest, most common form of Nobodies, too.

And yeah, maybe they are just blind, and rely on their other senses.
