How do you all like the new magic method with the panel system, versus having MP? I haven't played the game yet, and I'm not sure if it will work out nicely or not.

My thoughts are that at a low level it would be annoying, but as you progress it would get much better.

the panel system is like the cure spell in kh2, if you use it, all of your mp will be drained, but it seems more elaborated and interesting.

i don't like it but it's pretty decent. it wastes very quickly and you can't recover them in any other way besides ethers. the extra damage makes up for it though.

It's sorta annoying sometimes since once you run out you can't use it anymore unless you have an item.....

i think the panel seems pretty interesting, more complexity might make things a little funner.
Well yeah its fun but a little annoying when there are certain heartless that you like need to hit with magic or something and you run out >>;

The Panel System is a unique shot. It definitely requires the player to be a little more conservative with their resources. But there is a serious shortage of room... Buuuuuuuuut, I was playing earlier and there is a Magic Double Panel. So you can equip the Panel and then it doubles the Magics you link to it.

Yeah I use those for all my cures so I have a lot of them ^^;

I seriously love it. Very easy to understand and to use and maximize yourself before going into battle. They should have it in KH3.

I find the pannels very interesting, just that it wastes quickly and there's no more room to put in any more items if you add what magic pannels you want to add....... :(

It definitely is a more strategic approach to magic, which isn't such a bad thing.

Plus it makes the game more unique, which is also good, since it borrows so much from the previous games. It gives us fans a little bit of variety.

It forces people to strategize on magic usage.

No more 'thunder! Thunder! Thunder! Oh wait, I have the slightest mp left, cure!' and running around to recover it, like in KH 2.

And as a result, it made using different magics an adaptable strategy.

It forces you to use strategy. Which is awesome in KH. Gives it more depth, instead of just waiting for you MP to fill back up so you can spam everything. Magic is strong, at least fire is, in Days, so it makes sense.

And the doublecast panel helps you from running out. Now I have 6 fires instead of three.

I gotta admit, I do kinda miss action commands. Just gave a bit of flare to the combat.

The MP recharging made it WAY easier.
