Ahhh I fucked up the topic its supposed to say my first time...guys I need awnsers-explictish lol a mod mind changeing it for me?

ok... So im just going to cut straight to the point here me and this girl ive known for about a few months we tried to have sex (it was my first time) well..

Im not sure if its cause i was really really REALLLLLY nervous or what but... I could'nt stay hard...

Like I would be hard and ready to go after she gave me oral and a hand job but when she tried to put it in I would get limp.

Is this normal? I Figured it might be becuase I was really really tense and nervous and maybe trying to hard cause after that I tried a second time and I was relaxed alittle and it stayed hard longer

What are some tips to help me calm down?

Out of all the things that could possibly happen in my life I never thought I would be going limp while trying to have sex. well... not until I hit my 50's atleast

Performance anxiety? Doesn't seem too unlikely.

My advice: focus on the girl, not on yourself. If you freak out about how well you'll do; well, I think you found that out already.

If it's her first time too, then just take comfort in that fact. If not, well then she shouldn't be too adverse to (and may take pride in) giving you a helping hand (you know, I meant that figuratively, but literally works with that as well).

It's totally normal. There are so many different things going through your head that you're not focusing on the present. "I have to perform well..." "What if I can't find the hole...?" "What if I finish too quick...?" And so on and so on times a thousand. How are you going to have a good time with all that running through your head?
After a few times you'll realize that it really is no big deal, and the anxiety will be gone.

I get what your saying I figured as much but its allways nice hearing someone else say it to.

I'm not one for used cars with gas mileage, but if she's dealt with the situation before I'm sure she's understanding of your problem. I can imagine it being a problem for me my first time. You'd have to get over the "this is really happening" kind of thing and just try to let things come naturally.

i don't have a double standard opinion where only guys can fuck around and girls can't. girls are allowed to like sex just as much as guys are.
they probably wouldn't be my type of girl since i would probably feel slightly intimidated, but i'm not going to be a judgemental asshole about it.

well that's up to the individual to decide. people are allowed to make whatever lifestyle choices they want and they shouldn't have to deal with self-righteous judgemental bullshit.

the double standard is that a guy can sleep with whoever he wants and not get called out for it. but if a girl does the exact same thing, she's a slut. i don't agree with that.

and sex only means as much as you want it to mean. some see it as a recreational activity and some see it as the ultimate expression of love.
personally, i don't see sex and love as mutually exclusive concepts. i could have sex with a girl i just met and it doesn't have to mean a thing and we can both just have a good time. and i could also have sex with the girl i love and it can be passionate and intense. a few one night stands shouldn't detract from that experiance.
both are still valid experiences, it's just i attach a certain weight to one over the other that makes it more rewarding.
