Puberty is the moment your body is preparing for the future. This way, not jsut your muscles but also your brain grows. And thus also sexual preference.
Like Phoenix said, just because you arent gay when youre a baby, that doesnt mean youre not born with it.

Well, whether you're gay or not, you will most probably find out during puberty, as that is the time you are getting ready to become sexually active.
People that find out they're gay when they're in their 40s, take that with a grain of salt. They probably always knew but just kept it in to save them from people like some here that are so negative about gay people. xD

hmm... i've had this kind of experience before. i didn't know my uncle was... i'm quite surprised how my cousin still gives respect for her brother. it was kept secret for a long time but i guess it's understandable.

There are two 'groups' atm. You have your brother who has a sexual attraction to men, that he can not help at all. And you have two parents who hate gay people apparently and can actually do something about it but are too stubborn.
You're not supposed to choose sides here, but I reckon you won't choose your parents' side either way.

oh I just thought of another possibility... how old is your brother? ur parents might be going crazy mainly because they havent realized it till now (from whenever he found out till now... wats the gap between here?) u asked him about his phone conversation because he was talking o another guy and saying stuff like "your cute" "I love you" and suff like that (im assuming) that means he already had enough time to accept it and stuff. so... your parents r also mad because there's no way he could just be confused or jumping to conclusions... it might not seem like it if u don't think about it, but coming out when u first think about it and doing it when u knew for a while and accepted it are different.
well if he did... they wouldnt exist now to counter overpopulation now would they...

I mean if your dad came home drunk then he obviously can't deal with it. That is surely one way that humans deal with their problems.
The thing is that a lot of people need to realize that there really is nothing to "deal" with. Well I don't mean it that way, I dunno typing about this stuff odds me out. I am much better speaking with people on the matter.
Gay people are gay, simple as that.
I mean your father might need to think about this, or get some kind of counseling, but really he should talk to your brother about it more.
