Ok well there's not really an update, except that Play-Asia's status has changed on it (giving no release date) and my copy from Yesasia has not even come in stock yet. Bad thing?
However, the album is up on iTunes Japan, and you can hear the previews. The Scherzo is happy, that's for sure. Monstro is what you'd expect from it. It's one of the more laid back tracks, from the preview, but with a lot of technique needed to make up for the tempo.
Sinister Sundown is extended by about 55 seconds. All the other tracks clock in at about the 3-4 minute mark, the longest being Xion's theme at 5:35 (hope that's a good thing). It certainly sounds like something off the X-2 piano collections album, with 12ths in a rhythm similar to Wind Crest, and I can imagine a climax in a similar style too. Hollow Bastion certainly sounds like another plus side to the album, from the sounds of both previews.
For those interested, the Medley's preview continues right about after the preview on the main site, and sounds considerably better than what they gave us there (more depth and dynamics and technique). Definitely seems more complex than the 13th Side.
And I wonder if Wonderland is really just a random repetition of those two sections of music. I really hope not.
Seems like I'll be playing the album in reverse when I get my copy.
